it's absolutely hilarious: Joker would admonish Jokic stans for their Murray slander if he posted on NT.

Hopefully Jokic love for Murray and Malone wont be the reason he never wins an NBA ring

NT hat on: Jokic knows he absolutely needs Murray at his best to win it all this year so he is building his confidence
Am i doing it right?

Murray doesn't need his confidence built. that slider is maxed out, to use a 2K reference.

Am I the only one who thinks the wrist issue with Jokic is overblown? He was lighting it up from 3. Any kid of hand/wrist issue usually impacts your long range shooting the most. He was grabbing boards and battling for position. Still slinging the ball and using his hands on defense. Even his FT’s. He hit 9-10 this game.
Feels like it was more the Wolves size/maybe feeling the pressure a little bit.

The majority of his mid range jumpers were short though, so not sure if the wrist had anything to do with that

It's very difficult to take jumpers over a guy that tall. You have to put more arc on tour shot obviously.

Jokic has historically struggled when opposing teams had 2 bigs on the floor and it was no different in this series. We saw it against Favors/Gobert duo and against Davis/DH duo as well. He was actually better then I expected and it would have been even worse if Finch exploited it more. The next series should be a bit easier for Jokic

I was with my son in the 3rd level of Ball Arena for the game and had a great time. Some general observations: -the TWolves are somewhat lacking in intangibles but are very talented and big and would have been a difficult first round matchup for anyone. -Murray is an absolute foxhole guy (CAREER playoff averages: 25 points/5 rebounds/6 assists on shooting splits of 47/41/90). -I think the tape more than Jokic’s wrist injury itself relates a bit to less efficient interior shooting, but the size of the TWolves frontcourt is no joke in terms of paint defense. -Edwards is a stud and TWolves management really has to put more good character guys around him as NBA seasons are long. -Bruce Brown has been huge for the Nuggets. -I absolutely trust CB’s spot up three point shooting (and trust him in general) and FWIW, he was hitting them at an extremely high clip in warmups. -Folks who think Porter is or should be the Nuggets second banana are kidding themselves. He has neither the game nor the intangibles for that. -I was on the 3rd level, but it sure looked to me like the Nuggets had a tough whistle down the stretch of that game, and I’m not an anti-Scott Foster guy, as I appreciate that he doesn’t play favorites. It showed maturity, discipline and toughness that they didn’t lose their composure. -Malone did a very good job coaching that series. -Rocky hit his half court shot, and quite quickly (first or second attempt). -the family in front of me (parents and 2 kids) left with something like 1 minute left in the game. What is wrong with these people?

Where has anyone said MPJ needs to be a second banana man.

Where has anyone said MPJ needs to be a second banana man. I think I told scooter offline that MPJ could average 25 ppg with a lottery team as a #1 option, or even for us with a new coach with a different system that featured him. My guess is that he’s responding to that. And he is cherry-picking a bad MPJ shooting night (for 3 quarters, as he was on target in key 4Q) to say that. I’m fine with MPJ being 3rd option on Nuggets as long as Murray and Jokic are playing, and don’t think anyone has said he needs to be a second banana.

I don't think anyone thinks MPJ should be the 2nd option. I think most people who are realistic think he should be utilized more, and better. The Nuggets have way too long of stretches where MPJ is frozen out of the offense. I'll take my chances with MPJs shooting any day of the week. A bad game isn't going to change that. When Murray is clearly having an off night, the Nuggets should adjust and look to MPJ for offense. They rarely ever do that. That's my issue with the team's philosophy. MPJ is a max player.

I would have liked to have seen a more concerted effort by the Nuggets guards and wings to force switches and get the Wolves' bigs in space this series. Murray and Bruce did it to a degree but we didn't see a great deal of it from KCP, Braun, or MPJ and I think it would've really opened up the offense more.

That's the problem. MPJ can do it attacking closeouts but that's it. He's stiff and has a weak handle. CB isn't going to play outside his role. KCP is a DHO/spot up guy. Bruce did a fantastic job attacking bigs in the series IMO

They don't have to break down guys off the dribble.
