I liked Finch here but IMO a pretty disappointing series for him. T-Wolves have some legit talent. Should have been a higher seed. Chemistry issues/lockerroom stuff clearly impact the regular season W's/L's. Towns/Edwards were absolutely eating off the bounce and at the rim. I was terrified we'd get a heavier dose of that. Instead Towns/ANT went 1-12 from 3. That's what concerned me about OKC. I think if we faced them your getting a much heavier dose of SGA doing what Edwards did at the rim and far less settling from deep. He was missing a starter and probably the best backup big man in the league in this series Still. KAT was absolutely eating everybody when he drove. Same with Edwards. Like if your another team watching that series your calling plays to get inside. Minny shot 8-33 from 3 tonight. If they call more plays inside it's probably a different game. I think there's a ton of positives to take away from this game/series but the biggest concern is the rim protection. I loved Jokic's aggression and the fact that he kept firing but if the Wolves kept trying to punch him in the mouth inside this might be going 6 games. |

Great win. Team played terribly for a lot of it and still pulled it out. Phoenix is putting on quite a show and our lackluster performance in the last two games won't fly against them.

Man, tough game. Gotta give the Wolves credit. They didn't cave in the way some of these teams are. Fought us to the end and saved some face. I can see them being pretty good next year if any of this carries over.
Got the job done though. You can second guess this or criticize that, but it's on to round two!

Taking almost the same amount of 3's as the Nuggets tonight when your entire advantage is in the paint was just strange. |

It may sound strange, to you/us, but they hit quite few last game + 4 of them in OT they were hoping they have to start coming in. Anyway Denver is in Round 2, PHX just beat LAC, so BRING IT ON... we can definitely beat them. Jokic is not gonna have many shooting nights like this, MPJ is gonna wake up and Murray's game 4 is in the past. |

More concern than happiness after these 5 games Listen man, it's a sports game, they are all professionals, professionals playing in top league, playing for elite teams of their chosen sports.. Even the best of them, Jordan, Jabbar, Bird etc. did not win every game, noone has won 100% of the games they played. Bucks (1) down 1:3 to Miami (8), Memphis (2) down 1:3 to Lakers (7). Even if have beaten Wolves 4:0, with 40pts difference in each of those 4 games, that does not mean or guarantee anything agains PHX... New series, new fight. Point is just be happy for this moment, more excitement to come, this team has plenty of talent and is healthy (knock on wood) so....... LET'S GO! |

The concern comes from seeing the likely effect of the wrist on Jokic’s midrange shooting tonight, and FT shooting through the series overall (though he was 9-10 tonight). I think it has caused some misses. Noticed how his midrange and floater shots all seemed short. There is some effect, though it oddly is less impactful on his 3’s.
We need a true MVP Jokic for all games against Suns to have any shot to advance. That’s my concern.

Yeah, but as I am saying he won't have shooting nights like these, everyone have 1 off (shooting nights) every now and then but guys that are absolute top, 'cream ala cream' don't have it 2, 3 nights in a raw. Look at Murray in game 4 and look at Murray tonight, tonight we saw a real Murray. We absolutely need Jokic with his MVP performance which he is more than capable of, as well as other guys with full concentration and this is winnable. |

Booker has 35 with 4 minutes left in the 3Q against the Clippers. Literally playing like Michael Jordan right now. I'm scared. Fam - the roster of people guarding Booker: Powell Westbrook Eric Gordon Mann (Mann is actually decent) Hyland And even with that, Booker had to give it 40 mins per night. Don’t be scared. That was a layup drill for Booker. |

We have 3 days of rest for Jokic's wrist until game 1 and 3 days between games 2 and 3. If it goes that far, 2 days between games 6 and 7. Love this comment ^^^. I’m far more concerned about twin towers TWolves with edwards, than I am about Phoenix. Not to mention that KD and Booker had to play 40 mins every night, every playoff game. |

The way I see it
Jokic > Ayton
Murray > CP3
Durant > Gordon
Booker > KCP
MPJ > Okogie/and or Craig
Our bench > their bench
I think MPJ and the bench are the difference in this series.
