why we are talking about Facu and not MPJ Because 1 guy is killing the offense and 1 guy is killing the defense but it's more fun to talk about offense. but hes not. you see that because youre f***ing obsessed. you make it sound obvious but yet none of our coaches see it? why is that?? BECAUSE THEY ARENT BLINDED BY IRRATIONAL HATE

I'm legit about to pass out from laughing. You're telling me an NBA coach in the Year 2021 has schemed for his offense to not involve the Pick and Roll.
Holy s**t lmao.
Here are Facus numbers in the playoffs as a PnR ball handler going into today's game. 77 Offensive Rating. 38% FG. 18% turnover rate.

You're right though Malone has come up with a scheme to not involve PnRs with one of the best finishers in the NBA even though they have a PG in Campazzo who is a Top 5 PnR player in the world. Top 5 PnR player yet he won't let him run any. Interesting.

Eriks argument for Campazzo not running PnRs is that it's actually a scheme thing even though Malone called him a Top 5 Pick and Roll player in the entire world.
This is a serious argument he just made instead of just saying "Ring you were right and I was wrong."

Erik I'm going to explain basketball to you and then I'm off to bed.
When you are a PnR ball handler and the opponent does not have to worry about you finishing at the rim or taking a pull up, not only does the big not have to shade towards the guard in the PnR, the trailing guard can also shade towards the center on recovery. Because of this, there is no passing angle available for the guard to make the pass because the center is completely covered. So the guards only option is to go for a lay up. The entire point of a PnR is to get the big in no mans land. The Nuggets can't do that with Campazzo because there's no such thing as no mans land because Ayton does not have to move a single inch towards Campazzo when he's in the PnR.
Compare this to Trae Young and Capela for example. Trae can get the big off balance very easily because if they shade towards Capela he can take the floater and if they shade towards him, he can hit Capela on the oop.
With Campazzo you don't have to respect him in the PnR from any aspect at all simply because he cannot put the basketball through the hoop unless he is taking a free throw or a wide open 3 pointer (at an average clip)

A teabagged laker team gave them problems too. We’re better than the Lakers without AD. without Murray and MPJ? lol riiiiiiiight MPJ is right there tho Malone said he’s fine

I also want to point out that Malone is using a very interesting scheme where for some reason he runs pick and rolls with Barton/Jokic and Monte/Jokic but not Facu/Jokic. I find that very weird but at the end of the day it's just a scheme thing. It's not because the defense has to respect Morris/Barton as a PnR ball handler and not Campazzo. I just want to make that clear. The scheme changes when those guys enter the game. Not because of their ability as PnR ball handlers. It's just because the scheme changes for no reason at all.

The point being that facu isnt useless and that you are extremely biased.. borderline obsessed.

It's a big victory lap because I've been saying this before the playoffs even started. "Campazzo is going to get exposed in the playoffs because you don't have to guard him in the pick and roll and he's 5'9." I literally said that s**t before the All Star Break. I was right. And I'm mad that I was right because it's clear as day killing the offense. People can call me an a****** and arrogant all they want but at the end of the day I know my s**t.

I literally said before the series started "I'd really like Facu to come off the bench because I really think he can bother Cam Payne." I don't think he's useless. But I do think from an offensive perspective he is absolutely useless if you are playing him with Rivers/AG/MPJ/Jokic. And because of the personnel this Nuggets team has, they have to win with offense.

He plays really hard, is a great/extremely smart off ball defender and would be a fantastic 10-12 MPG energy guy off the bench. You called him the best perimeter defender on the team even though he's been f***ing OBLITERATED by Dame, CJ, Powell and now CP3. And you can say whatever you want about those guys being stars. AG f***ing dominated CJ and Powell and did a very good job on Dame. Has also been fantastic on Booker so far.

Before the Portland series. "I actually think this is a good series for Facu because nobody on Portland can really mismatch hunt him outside of Melo" In the Phoenix series, both CP3 and Booker have posted him up successfully. And if Denver had a PnR scheme that actually worked, they'd probably go to it more. Why post Facu up when every single PnR you run you generate a wide open 3? And I absolutely stated a ton of different times that teams wouldn't guard Campazzo in the PnR come playoff time. TONS of times.

EVERYONE was obliterated by dame. you just chose to ignore that facu spent lots of posessions on him his 1-10 game or whatever it was. AND WE BEAT PORTLAND. Green literally called for Facu all defensive team. But sure som fatass on NT knows better than Green
