As great as this win is hard not to worry about the missing players/rust/chemistry down the line. Awesome game tho. MPJ has been an awesome to watch today. His stroke is amazing. Only thing he really needs to work on is freeing himself up/getting open. He's absolutely smothered at times and his teammates won't force the ball in. He was the best player on the floor when it comes to movement of the ball and trying to get himself open. Don't forget that OKC coach is also watching the game, he tried to adjust defense on him and play harder out of screens. Even so he put up 35 on them Edit: 37

sticky is offended that Hastings would dare compare MPJ to Kleiza. He saw my tweet the other day where I said they went to the same college... they’re similar

It's not unusual for players of MPJ's caliber. There use to just being forced the rock and dominating teams. Until your the franchise guy teammates aren't going to force the rock into you. He was pretty flawless today, but I think had he freed himself up more he could have got up 20-23 shots and had an even bigger day. 12-16 from the floor is ridiculously efficient, and you could tell Malone was going to let him do whatever he wanted on offense today. Either way huge game for him and Jokic. Basically the only way were winning games with the current roster.

He gets knocked off his spot too easily and that's the difference between a play happening and the offense breaking down.

What's the point of seeding again? Would you rather play Dallas/OKC in Round 1 or Houston/Utah? Houston would be a nightmare for this team on the defensive end.

With a bit more strength in his backs/legs, with more experience, time, he will master getting out of screens. You are right, he is not a star and a lot of our players are looking to get paid and playing hero ball. Either way, Jokic/MPJ/Monte played heavy minutes, looked ready to go for another OT or two while being focused and productive. That's good news. Now we need Murray/Barton/Garris to get back healthy ASAP and work them in, but not at the cost of MPJ losing starting spot. MPJ MUST START.

One thing to point out with regards to MPJ is he played like 45 minutes. 45 minutes in his 3rd game back after a 4 month layoff. His previous high was 29 minutes. He has to put a little more muscle on but the kid is a stud.
His rookie year and he just dropped 37/12 on crazy efficiency. Sky is the limit for him. If he ever develops a handle as a PnR ball handler, it's over.
