Clippers lose to the Nets. Nuggets now a game back and if they win out I believe they grab the 2 seed. I actually think the best case scenario for the Nuggets now is OKC winning out and the Nuggets falling to the 4 seed. Nuggets/OKC Round 1. Lakers round 2. I kinda don’t want 2nd seed. Dallas will give us a ton of trouble. Those guys can score 130-140 a night. I expect some strange lineups by malone the next 5 days |

Yeah, 4th or 5th sounds nice. As strange as it sounds, I don't think Jokic would have any of that, because he hates losing on purpose, even though we witnessed more than a few games when he didn't give a toss about his numbers or the final result.
I'd like to win all the remaining three games and then face Dallas/Clippers in the 2nd round because that is the right way of thinking - just beat everyone.

utah is 20-40 from beyond the arc, early in the 4th vs dallas (both teams sitting star players).
the shooting has been unreal so far. yet we have gotten worse.

Looks like OKC and Utah are trying to avoid everyone but us, which is quite understandable, knowing the other options stuffed with veteran superstars.

Man this seeding is getting so damn complex.
Dallas can still grab the 5 seed technically. If the Mavs beat Portland/Phoenix and the Jazz lose to SA, Dallas jumps Utah. If OKC loses to both Miami/LAC, Dallas would jump all the way to 5.

a) we can only finish 2nd, 3rd, or 4th
b) our possible first round opponents could only be: dallas, okc, or utah
I think we no longer can match up with houston...right?

Correct. The only teams that Denver can play are Dallas, Utah or OKC. Houston is resting Harden tomorrow vs the Spurs but Westbrook and Gordon are playing so I'm still thinking that's a win. Utah only has 1 more game left. I think the most likely seeding is still OKC 5, Utah 6, Dallas 7. Mavs beating both Portland and Phoenix who are fighting for their lives seems very unlikely IMO. |

Nuggets magic number for the 3 seed is now 1 with the Rockets loss today against San Antonio. With a loss against Portland, Dallas is locked into the 7 seed.

Second: It's hilarious that Portland needs all these 50, 60 pieces by Dame and still win by 3 every time... he learned a lot from Melo I guess

First off, they have literally nobody to guard Lebron. It's either Melo or Trent Jr who is just too small for Lebron. Collins isn't quick enough. There's just no way Dame isn't going to run out of gas. He's been playing at an absolutely insane clip but he's going to get tired. He shot really well from 3 today, but both games in the back to back Portland just played, almost all of his 3s were hitting the front rim. If McCollum/Nurk don't step up big time, they have no chance against LA. Literally 5 games max even with LA struggling. |

Agree. Lillard is a monster who lives from being motivated as f**k... he is right now because everybody said they're not making the playoffs and then that beef with PG and Beverley happens... he is going to get tired easily especially when Lakers run all these blitzes and doubles at him
