We are on pace to win 55 games. No one needs to be traded.
Have GSW made any trades?

Sure but I like where we are. Wait, do some of you actually fear we might not make the playoffs ? It was the goal this season, anything else is bonus right ? We can only finish worse than where we were at half-season, make peace with that.

It's possible but severely unlikely. That being said, playoffs shouldn't just be the goal. Home court should be the goal at this point. A 1st round win should be the goal. Playoffs should have been the goal last year and the year before. This team is behind the 8 ball because they should have gotten playoff experience last year. Playing Mudiay/Harris over Monte pretty much cost us a playoff spot. A 1st round exit isn't enough for me this year. It was nearly a given that this team was going to make the playoffs this year. 1st round win should have always been the goal and with this hot start the 1st round Home Court should also be the goal. If we beat Philly on Friday everything will be A-OK for the time being. But that issues this team has needs to be addressed. Because they're only going to get exposed more and more as expectations get higher.

If we want to get real real... time to dump Murray for AD or Griffin. Are you ready for that?

If we want to get real real... time to dump Murray for AD or Griffin. Are you ready for that? If you told me that AD would re-sign, I would 100% trade Murray. If he said he might re-sign, I'd 100% trade Murray. If he said no chance, obviously not. And I wouldn't trade for Griffin under any scenario. Too big a contract and not impactful enough of a player. AD/Jokic front court would be unstoppable and you can't put a better guy next to him on the defensive side of the ball. Monte is a starting level PG. He doesn't have the ceiling of Murray but his floor is a good starting PG. His shot is there, he's a great PnR player and his decision making is top notch. He's never going to give you 40 points but you wouldn't need that with AD/Jokic. That 17/7/7 game he had would be perfect. Monte is a better player than Jamal currently IMO. Especially defensively. Would love to see them start at the 1/2 just to see what that would look like.

IMO AD = unrealiatic Blake = realistic There's no way you can swallow the Blake contract though man. He makes 34M next year, 36 after and a 38M option the year after. It's just too much money to take on. Him and Jokic alone would take up like 60% of the cap. That contract is nuts. Part of me wants AD and part of me wants to play it out with what we have. Let them get the playoff experience and then move some guys after when we see how they perform come playoff time. But you can't turn down a top 5 player if they're available. If you can get AD without giving up both Murray/MPJ I think you have to take that risk.

The cap will keep increasing though
How tf are you supposed to win a ring without two max players?

The cap will keep increasing though How tf are you supposed to win a ring without two max players? You most likely don't. But Blake isn't worth that contract. He won't move the needle IMO. AD would. AD is younger, cheaper and a much better player. Fits better next to Jokic too on both sides of the floor. We have 2 paths to a max player. Trade our assets which Tim will never do because it's risky and nobody is a lock to re-sign. We should have did this with Kyrie/PG13 (I think we would have if their situations came up this year). Other option is hope MPJ turns into a KD level player. Those are our only 2 options. Paul George re-signed with OKC after a 1st round playoff exit. We would have been in that exact same situation if we made the trade for him. At the end of the day this organization has built an infrastructure and a culture that they need to trust. If we make a trade for AD and he comes here and we win and he enjoys his time here like pretty much everyone has besides Nurk/Faried...why wouldn't he re-sign? We'd be able to offer the most money. He'd be paired with another top 10-15 player. Malone is a players coach and would bend over backwards to get the guy to commit here long-term. I just think it's time we take a chance. We have 1 more year of Murray/Malik/Juancho before those guys have to get paid. Murray is going to get 18-20M. Malik is going to get probably 10-12. I'd rather have AD than both of those guys. It's very hard to get top 5 players in the NBA. It's not that hard to fill your team with good role players. You get AD to join up with Jokic and everything else will fall into place. Worst case scenario AD says he won't re-sign and you trade him in the offseason and get the exact same package the Pelicans are going to get in the off-season. That being said...just trade Lyles and Lydon tomorrow for whatever you can get.

Mirotic at the 3 and Randle at the 4 is on the table right now. Fits perfectly in the system, and is exactly what we need. We have enough to make it happen, too. If we could drop Barton and Lyles and like Welsch or Lydon and a pick, it would be worth it. And the money lines up.
Edit: Waiting for the Barton police to show up. Should have cuffed me a long time ago but I was being "too negative". We are playing at 28th slowest pace in the league and Malone is preaching D = Barton is not worth it. He is still a solid player, but not for our system.

Mitrovic and Randle can give us much more IMO. I would prefer Ariza but WSH is not going to trade him, Brewer will sign MLE with PHI, Otto Porter is gone to Chicago, we are acting like 3 and D wings are not rare. They are and they are worth the money, in the direction this league is going with 3 point shooting. Side note: If anyone is dreaming that we will be able to add any star or even above average FA this summer is up for rude awakening also. Both LA and NYK teams is going to have total of 8 spots for max free agents. Only free agent that would be willing to sign for the Nuggets and be paid good this summer can be "donkeyface" at best case scenario.

Reading this thread, it looks like Ring didn’t get any sleep. Relax, Ring. Whatever happens today, even if nothing happens, is for the best.

@gbg Does it matter? We will cut Lydon and sign Swaggy P in best case scenario.

How are those two SF and PF, both are even a bit slow for a PF on the defensive end...

LeBron posted some Instagram crybaby s**t about owners screw players, but fans shouldn't cry when players leave as free agents. He was prompted to do so by the mid-game Harrison Barnes deal.
Now this info comes out:
LeBron is amazing and a top 5 all-time NBA player, but his mental weakness displays like this is another reason I say Jordan > LeBron all day long.
