Professionals wouldn't be trying for a headshot at 125 yards. It's too unreliable. Professionals would go for center of mass -- and they'd bring something of sufficient caliber that body armor wouldn't matter. Some chump firing .223 from a rooftop, going for the head, is still dangerous but it's also not surprising he (mostly) missed.

And you know, in Germany we don’t have guns for every sicko like you guys do. And that’s also why you guys ended up with a leader that could do a holocaust against the Jews, disabled, homeless and gays, with minimal pushback. In addition - Germany is not the safest country in Europe. That crown is fought amongst Switzerland, Finland and Sweden. What do all three have in common? Three euro countries with enormously high rates of private gun ownership - massive reason why they’re safer. But the main thing - re: hitler - there’s only one protection against tyranny. Kindly keep your garbage arguments to yourself. (Note: I love Germany! For others reading please know I love Germany - my criticism is on this issue specifically)

In addition - Germany is not the safest country in Europe. That crown is fought amongst Switzerland, Finland and Sweden. What do all three have in common? Three euro countries with enormously high rates of private gun ownership - massive reason why they’re safer. First - all countries in Europe have stricter gun ownership rules and significantly lower ownership rates than USA. A lot of European countries rank significantly higher on safety compared to USA. (there are really quite a lot of varied lists in terms what is considered, but this statement holds try for all) Then: Could you provide a source for these 3 countries ranking top3? Although they generally rank in the top 5-10, the top is mixed in with other, and Sweden has seen a significant drop down the list due to - well being a bit nazi (for previous example see eugenics program they ran until late 70s). Due to institutionalized segregation of immigrants they created a very fertile grounds for criminal enterprises for which they had to deploy the army on the streets. Now they are finally moving towards mixed communities. Now to address the gun ownership bullshit. - There are sever limitations on the type of guns you can own (mostly pistols and hunting rifles). - There is a bit difference between a permit to own and a permit to carry. The second one is in many countries impossible to get unless there is an occupational need. Some countries even require storage (e.g. Sweden requires it's kept in a safe) - No country allows you to fill out a form in something like a Walmart and get a gun. In many it involves psychological evaluation and (at minimum) background checks. Sweden (same or lower ownership rates than their neighbors) and Finland have higher ownership rates than EU average due to the amount of hunting. It's basically a geographical thing. Living in sparsely populated places where encountering a wolf is quite possible, owning a shotgun or a hunting rifle makes sense. Finland has more than it's neighbors mostly because it has a long and dark history with the neighboring Russia, and the way they fought against the invasion in the past. The same reason why they still have mandatory military service - their neighbor is still considered an active threat. (again free carry absolutely not allowed) Swiss have most liberal gun ownership laws in Europe, that is true, and it's a historical one (although hunting and sparsely populated mountainous is something they share with the Nordic countries) probably the biggest reason is the militia nature of their army, with the firearms being stored at the reserves' homes (packed under a seal, regularly checked). BTW all 3 mentioned countries have mandatory military service where ppl get proper training on gun safety. A few steps I suggest: - Make a list of top 10 EU countries by safety for a proper source. (randoms on social networks do not qualify) - Make a list of top 10 EU countries by gun ownership from a proper source. (randoms on social networks do not qualify) - Be surprised there is 0 correlation there. The "I need guns to protect from a tyrannical government" thing - dude it does not work, and the whole safety and security thing is just a standard fearmongering to get you to buy (into) something. Similar to the Apple's attempt to formalize and legitimize access to personal photos and other data on the phones with think of the children bullshit. E.g. Serbia has one of the highest gun ownership rates in Europe and is sliding into totalitarianism. It comes down to media control, not gun control.

Bbb - very nice verbal gymnastics- but the point ultimately proves that crime does not correlate with gun ownership - in fact - the safest countries actually have arsenals of private guns (again - Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, etc).
In regard tyranny - the point is very valid. Australia had “covid” camps where people were held against their will for not complying to the garbage lockdown. The same thing didn’t happen in the USA, despite major similarities in culture.
Genocides haven’t happened in countries where the private citizens have easy access to guns. That’s the number one reason every household should have many.
It’s no wonder of course that Hitler confiscated guns from all Jewish owners - what ensued after that?
Question bbb - are you white or minority?
