So considering the whole "Rookie Talk" idea - while good but poorly executed - hasn't really worked out, may I suggest completely removing the section and moving the "Nugsaholic" thread back to the main NT(although newbs introducing themselves has never really happened anyway)?
At the same time, might as well also get rid of the "Fantasy Sports" sub-section, as it's never actually been used.

Agree.
Rookie Talk had nice intentions but it failed. Much like my social life.
It's probably time to wave the white flag and drop it. Rock, your intentions were good but this forum didn't have the versatility to make it work. It should be scrapped.
Fantasy should go as well. You can trash talk on your respective fantasy board which renders it useless here.

The guy hasn't shown up on ages... I understand him going AWOL when we're winning... But we're sucking now... He's 1 game too late...

the rookie thing was good if rock didnt abandon it. the 300 post limit to start new threads, still a great idea.

the rookie thing was good if rock didnt abandon it. the 300 post limit to start new threads, still a great idea. That wasn't really rock's fault. The whole idea was to have another section for newbs to prove that they weren't dumb shits. But that's kind of hard to do in a section where there are no active threads. So then you had newbs just posting useless post padding stuff in hangout and sports talk, so they could gain access to nuggets talk to discuss the nuggets. |
