I don't understand why people are freaking out. Yeah Melo played great but no one else really stepped up offensively, we missed a ton of free throws and it was in LA. If anything I feel more confident...we can hang with this team and every game will probably be a battle like this. hopefully they do, because i dont , i feel we had that game and just blew it We did blow it but there's nothing to be ashamed of. We wil force the Laker to beat us. if they turn out to be the better tema-- congrats. I have no bad feelings after a tough loss like this.

Missed fts fucked us, I felt we'd look back at that in the first half as to why we lost. Still. George f***in Karl. Why do some of you people defend him. He may be fine in practice, but he's a terrible in game coach...he has no feel for the game. That and his diva f***ing attitude I wish could send his azz out of town. He sticks to his predetermined sh*t way too much, he screwed us in the 2nd and the 4th C'mon man.

They were going to review it an never did, but Denver still choked this game away down the stretch. Hell, we were up 5 and in control late in the 4th. up 7 with 5 minutes, we lost this ourselves, but i swore like someone said it was 63-61 and it made it 66-61.

Quick question.......WHY the F' was AC in the game right then? Am I the only one who thinks GK has some kinda MAN-CRUSH on AC? He can't shoot. His handle is only adequate, & he's a liability most of the time because of his height. WHY does he get so much playing time?

If anything I feel more confident...we can hang with this team and every game will probably be a battle like this. I am confident with this Nuggets team as well. Like I've said, this isn't the same ass team that they swept last season. People are freaking out because of how we lost the game. I mean seriously, the game was still within reach even with all the missed free throws and all the other bullshit, THE FREAKING GAME WAS STILL IN REACH! And then what happens? Anthony freaking Carter lets them have a gimme (thanks to George Karl's superb coaching decisions of course). Such a nice way to lose. And the worse part of it is, this loss MAY cost us the series for all we know.

Our bigs are quite capable, maybe you havent been watching this year. Gasol is still soft and our guys are more physical. Kenyon defended the f**k out of odom just likehe's capable of doing every game, Our defense really bothered them at times. the Lakers will get open 3' GTFO with that comment. Ive been here for every game every year for 20 years so yeah STFU And you're not encouraged by the game? s**t like this happens-- yeah, we might not make the Finals and everyone will talk about those 3-4 plays and the missed ft's-- but that s**t happens.

this one hurts. the nuggs just let the lakers steal the game from them. the missed FTs out of Billups and Jersus were really key. Hopefully they can bring more focus to game 2.

His handle is only adequate, & he's a liability most of the time because of his height. WHY does he get so much playing time? He shouldn't have been inbounding the ball. However, JR played very poorly tonight and had a bad-shot game. He certianly gave support to his detractors tonight-- but he will bounce back becuase he is a lot better than that. I have no problem with GK trusting AC tonight.

Bottom line is that if the nugs hit 3 more free throws, they win. They had a lot of chances there.
It should give them confidence that they can hang. The Lakers went full strength- this was not a lazy Lakers team that thought they could roll over a weak opponent. They came out to win.
And the Nugs not only hung in there, they stuck it to LA for a while. This is a good sign.
Don't be a bunch of whiny b*****es.

why did they stop going to Melo down the stretch of this game. And in the 2nd quarter. The team went retarded like the past couple of years. Melo is hot, he stops getting the ball.

You can go toe to toe with this team if you don't back down. And if we play like we did tonight all series-- we will have nothing to be ashamed of.

this isnt too bad of a loss, JR and the bench played pretty f***ing bad, and we missed like 12 fts and we barely lost, on the road no less. im confident we can bounce back and win the next one. need to focus on free throws and boxing out. i was f***ing pissed at george for putting in AC over birdman though, no excuses, that was a trrble move

JR Smith desevers some blame for that. Melo was also tired-- maybe it was the layoff- maybe not. But he was working. Kobe has the endurance advantage on pretty much anybody-- and he had the better endurance tonight-- props to him. Meloo just couldn't get open or position in the 4th.

So you have no problem with an undersized PG inbounding the ball in the most critical moment of the game when the other team is already way bigger than you? K...
