Start Petro...give him 10-15 minutes and use up all 6 'physical' and 'hard' fouls on Gasol/Bynum/Odom first unit: Pg-billups sg-jones sf-melo pf-nene c-petro 6th-JR 7th-Birdman/Kmart for Nene/Petro 8th - AC 9th - Balkman on Kobe We should use Petro's size, 6 fouls and use him as the thug instead of Kmart

Line is at Lakers -6.5 and Denver +6.5. O/U is 214.5. Zeeman, Corona, and other bettors, what do you make of all this?

normal, i suppose.
fade teams coming off a game 7.
i think i'll wait until all the lakers bets pour in and the line moves up, and then tease denver with cleveland.

It seems most are scared of the Lakers length, if you are seriously talking about starting Petro.
Who do they have to matchup up with JR? Kobe Bryant is the only I can think of. When JR makes kobe play defense, he expends too much energy.
Melo will be guarded by Ariza/Walton/ Odom fairly goo matchup for melo
Chauncey gets checked by Fischser/ VUYA
Nene gets checked by Gasol/Bynam
The worst matchup is Kmart on the offensive end, Gasol or Bynam whoever is guarding Kmart is free to roam, if Kmart is parked outside.
When DJ is in the game, Kobe is free to roam also

If they can play some solid trapping defense, win game 1 and steal home court, they take the series

You do not start Petro, you knuckleheads.
If Scola and Hayes can give Gasol trouble, KMart can do the same. Put Nene on Bynum but feed Nene all night on the offensive end and put Bynum on his heels.
Bynum will be in foul trouble quickly and then Odom has to come in. Then switch KMart onto Odom and put Nene (later Bird) on Gasol.
The real trick is to keep Gasol/Bynum/Odom off the glass and the Nugs will be fine.
And keep Kobe away from the paint.

All Karl has left to realize is how amazing his career has truly been. f**k this Start JR/Petro/Balkman bullshit. Leave it alone. You're all grasping for straws.

K-Mart's footwork is unparalleled, he just can't finish consistently.

Scola was able to guard Gasol because the Rockets were able to play Artest/Battier on Kobe without double teaming him. This made it harder for Gasol/Bynum/Odom to get easy baskets. We don't have that freedom.
