I voted 25, because it still seems easy to come in and make 10 'useless' posts and then start spreading their trollyness in the Nuggets Section. However I think 50 is too high, cause most people who sign up actually wanna talk about the Nuggets, and that's kinda hard to do in the Rookie Section when most people are in the main section Adelaide's #1 Nugs fan? I dont think so. |

i don't think you should put a restriction on # of posts before you can post in nuggets/nba forums. 50's ridiculous. i don't have 50 posts outside those two boards and i've been here every day for a couple years. i think it'd just deter any new (and potentially valuable) posters from coming here, and it'd clutter up all the other boards on NT with useless crap.
i'd rather have something like...
limit new users posting to 1 per day for the first week.
3 per day for the second week
5 per day until the 6th week and then unlimited after that.
and restrict all new thread creation to users with 200 posts or users who have been members for __ amount of days.
that way people who sign up and could be good future posters can immediately be involved and give opinions and stuff, while bad posters can't be real nuisances to the rest of the board.

if thats the case corona's idea is the best. limiting posts per day is perfect. 300 to start a new thread should be there as well with a couple REAL mods and its legit.
