nuggets and nba talk limited access (updated 3/5)

ok its getting really out of hand with these one day trolls who come in, create a new name, go nuts then delete their own accounts (although i would have deleted it for them).

so whats happened now (and this is still a work in progress) is that the main forums (nuggets and nba talk) are limtied to those with at least 10 or most posts - meaning the 2nd level of posters and above (2+ stars)

this does a few things: a) it prevents these trolls from coming in and being idiots and ruining the board and b) it allows us to catch them before they try it anyways.

i can modify the number of posts needed if we feel its too much or too little.

i also kept access for reading for all guests - hopefully that still works. still testing it out.

Can I please mod rookie talk so that way I can shut down some noobs and close their thread with an Iron Fist?

Never posted before, but have been reading for a while (year plus). Love the board. Was just dropped from the post I was reading and have not been able to get back in to the that section. Just a heads up.

update: ok im working on adding the change that requires posters have 50 or more posts to be able to post in the nba or nuggets forums. however, any registered member shoudl be able to read.

let me know if this is working.

50 doesn't bother me. As long as the guys who just want to lurk can read the mains, there shouldn't be a problem. If someone can prove that they're worthy in a single post, you can make an exception.
