i gave him a temporary ban for a few reasons (1) the insults (2) the fact that his situation is taking away from the board and talking about the nuggets and (3) so i can figure out what the hell is going on.

please WITHOUT INSULTS, can someone clarify me on the situation? i see him post, then 10 people jump on him, then he attacks back - its not fun to read nor does this board need this. just need some calm voices to help me figure out whats going on. (this reminds me of the snake situation all over again)

remember, when someone is trolling or breaking rules or doing anything you feel is wrong, please just PM me with a link and quotes. its that simple. i cant be on the board 24/7 nor can i read every post/thread.

Immature poster that b*****es about pretty much about everything related to Melo and not the Nuggets overall... He only cares about Melo's stats and nothing else... It's not a big deal, but his whining caught up with him eventually.

Would anyone be disappointed if he is able to do 20-22 (45%+ shooting) with 10 boards and 5 assists a game for the rest of the season? Not the league leading PPG's some want.. but numbers like that should be better for the team and I think possible for him.

thanks cara for the quotes. aside from the few insults and fighting, most of the quotes arent that bad except for the fact that he does go overboard and its taking away from the quality of the board (like snake did).

While not everything he posts is bad, he does make himself an easy target. And when people disagree with him, he seems to become overly sensitive and he has this victim mentality where he seems to think everyone is against him or something. Sure some people see that and feed in to it.

He also seems to think he is always right. One thing he is "famous" for is starting a poll on realGM to try and prove Kaman/Camby is better than Kmart/Nene.

That just brought him more grief though.

as the denver nuggets realgm mod...trust me rock, its not really worth lifting that ban.

we banned 'peanut' twice for disrupting the board basically every time he logged on. i warned him at least a half dozen times before the first suspension, multiple more times before second suspension, and more times before banning him. then he came back as a different user, and i warned him again, and nothing changed. and then we banned him again. and then he came here and continued to do the same stuff.

its not that he insults people regularly or swears incessantly...etc, he just posts in a way that riles everyone up and brings down the quality of the thread. there wasn't a topic he was involved in where the argument didn't turn into melo vs. iverson, and didn't devolve into a bunch of elementary bickering. now chauncey's apparently the culprit for not allowing melo to average 50ppg on 60% shooting, even though he's one of the best pg's in the league. peanut loves melo to death, hates everyone who doesn't, and for some reason won't accept that he may in fact not be the GOAT. he's like phil77 on e-steroids.

over the time melo4mvp/peanut was on realgm, i consistently had other members pming me complaints and asking me to suspend/ban him. and i believe we lost a couple posters because of the incessant bickering caused on a daily basis, almost exclusively by peanut.
