I hope Malone is not afraid to pull out a wrinkle by playing Lyles or Juancho some at PF. I want Jokic in the post as much as possible and that is close to impossible when Jokic is playing alongside Plumlee. Lyles hit 3 of 7 threes against the Blazers this week. The Nuggets are at their best when Jokic is spending a lot of his time in the post scoring and drawing the defense in to create good shot opportunities for the rest of the team.
The Spurs are not a strong offensive rebounding team so IMO the Nuggets can afford to sacrifice a little rebounding for better floor spacing for some stretches. In addition, if they are going to continue to play Craig in a significant rotation role, they need to compensate by having a decent shooter at PF. While Craig has hit shots at a better than usual rate lately, it cannot be assumed that will continue. Lineups with Craig and Plumlee on the court with Jokic force Jokic out to the top of the key while the defense clogs the paint and dares the Nuggets to take out of rhythm threes. I hope the Nuggets are prepared to adjust by playing Lyles and/or Juancho to provide better floor spacing.
I think its a mistake to assume that players' recent form will dictate how they play in the playoffs. Things change.

DeRozan and LA are solid players but by no means are they superstars Aldridge is a 7 time western conference allstar and he averaged 21 points/game on 52% FG shooting (55.7% against the Nuggets) this season. Calling him a "solid player" is a mistake IMO. His mid-range jumper is just as good -- and as indefensible -- as Durant's, and he has a bigger power game than people think. He's a very difficult player for the Nuggets to defend as Millsap (who the Nuggets like to put on big man scorers to enable Jokic to save his energy and his fouls some) is too short to bother his great jump shot. I think he's a tough matchup for the Nuggets.

In France there are a lot of medias covering the NBA, and most of them predict a close battle, the most undecided of the 8, but I think that the prediction that I've seen the most was Denver in 6 or 7. Just sayin... I'm so excited ou have no idea

I think he's a tough matchup for the Nuggets. Fair enough, but he’s also almost 34. He’s a good player but I think you’d be in the minority if you consider him a superstar player at this point in his career. My bigger point was that the talent gap between the two teams is huge and it’s only gonna continue to grow (doesn’t realate to this series but still). Like I said, they have two good players, meanwhile our bench could probably make the playoffs in the east.

I don't see any signs Aldridge has declined. He will going forward, but this season he was exactly the same player he's always been.

Looking at his stats you’re right, he hasn’t really fallen off that much. But 21 and 9 a game isn’t a superstar player, good player, not a superstar.

Is this thread only for nuggets discussion or all of round one?
Because I just want to post LOL 6ERS!
Watching them lose despite embiid getting foul calls for the tiniest amount of contact is just delicious.
Also DLo is the man

I love seeing them lose.
