Rockets @ Lakers -- punches were thrown, but not by Carmelo. Ingram, Rondo, Paul all ejected. Lakers lack of shooting is going to destroy them. Yeah Ingram did the Melo and ran in late and connected on someone. He may get a long one. Hell, they all may, that looked really bad. Less for Chris Paul. In part because he's Chris Paul and does insurance commercials and such. Rondo did seem to do something to start that. Rondo is such a weird dude -- super smart, but with a hint of psychopath. Ingram may become a really good player eventually if his head is screwed on straight, but using high draft picks on super tall skinny guys seems like a high risk/reward proposition that usually doesn't pan out. If you pick physically odd guys based on a theoretical resemblance to a freakishly unique superstar (Durant in this case), it seems like the odds are against it. Take Jokic -- using a high pick on some 18 year old because he reminds somebody of an 18 year old version of Jokic is probably not going to work out.

They did catch Rondo spitting on camera:
I think that means a bigger suspension for him than Paul, at least

Ingram will probably be getting the biggest punishment. Anyways, f**k the Lakers, LBJ go make movies and let these morons implode on themselves.

Pretty weak discipline considering, but at least both will be out for our game in LA on Thursday.

Pretty mild suspensions considering the number of punches thrown and such.

It's a different league now is really the reason. The punishments simply aren't as harsh now, period. That was on the heels of the Malice at the Palace, and in David Stern's NBA, the biggest fear was looking too urban to Mr. and Mrs. Middle America. They also put in the dress code during that era.

We're the #1 seed in the West!! And not with a soft schedule, either. The Clippers are a solid team we beat on the road, and we took down the Warriors on a back to back. Yeah, the Suns are weak, but IMO less weak that last season.

Goodness - I remember when throwing a punch was 30 games minimum.
Melo’s lunch 10 years ago wasn’t even a punch. These two almost punched each other blind, and get a handful of games? Nice to be a big market team.
I am happy that Kuzma will start and prove he’s better than Ingram.
