I'm not talking about some retarded conspiracy theory. Pincus is a very qualified reporter, that usually knows what he's talking about. If he thinks there is a decent chance Nene fails his physical, there probably is.
I didn't say that the deal is dead, just that it is possible. I'm not even freaked about it. Not like I'd have any control over it, one way or the other.

What chronic injury has Nene ever had, except a sore vagina? If Camby can be traded countless times, I'm pretty sure Nene will be fine.

Wouldn't be surprised if Nene stabbed himself in the leg or something.

One reason the Wizards won't void the trade is they really don't want McGee back

Pincus is pulling s**t out of his ass to get more followers at hits at Hoopsworld. www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wizards-insider/post/nene-physical-likely-saturday-cook-might-discuss-buyout/2012/03/17/gIQAvkHkIS_blog.htmlPosted at 12:22 PM ET, 03/17/2012 Nene physical likely Saturday; Cook might discuss buyout By Michael Lee Nene is expected to arrive in Washington on Saturday to meet with Wizards medical staff and take his physical to complete the three-team deal involving Denver and the Los Angeles Clippers. Nene is unlikely to join the Wizards in Memphis and plans to get in two practices with his new team before making his debut on Wednesday in New Jersey. ... Bartelstein also represents forward Ronny Turiaf, who will not play in Denver. Turiaf is also expected to receive a buyout from the Nuggets and would draw interest in the free agent market. Turiaf was activated for the Wizards’ 107-98 loss in Dallas but didn’t play. Bartelstein said Turiaf is healthy and ready to go after being out since Jan. 1 because of a broken left hand.

So... mcgee will have to take either KK or Moz's minutes. Does anyone feel like Moz deserve it ahead of Kosta? I dont.
both are similar, but mozzy does so many stupid things and kosta is more active (at least on the offensive glass)
kosta could get gortat numbers if he got the minutes and was playing with nash

kosta could get gortat numbers if he got the minutes and was playing with nash That's a surprising comparison, but it's not as far off as people might think. Stats-wise, Koufos has a higher rebounding rate and percentage than Gortat, better shooting percentage, and a higher block rate. Gortat takes more scoring attempts (higher usage) and doesn't turn the ball over or foul quite as much, though. The eye test says KK is a better offensive rebounder and has a similar touch around the basket, though Gortat has better post moves. IMO they're fairly similar defenders. I don't know how he'd actually handle extended minutes on a nightly basis, but I don't think it's entirely beyond him to live up to the comparison.

From the beginning, I suspected that KK was better than Moz, and over the course of the season it's become pretty clear that KK has improved more and is contributing more.

Waiting for Pac to come in and brag about how he always thought KK was better Lmfao I'm waiting for it too...but Pac was right. KK is great when he allows the offense to come to him. When he forces dumb hook shots is when I get mad. IMO Moz just can't adapt to the rules of the NBA game.

Also, I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but after the Gallo pass to Faried...the first one off the bench getting hyped was Javale McGee. After Gallo hit a 3 our last possession, McGee got up and put the 3 symbol in the air. He was also getting hyped watching Faried crash the glass in the 4th. So...my first impression of him is a good one.
At least he was being supportive of his team...you could tell the guy wanted to be out there.

I would think that most on the board recognizes that KK is a better overall player than Moz at this point. i do think Moz will fit better on the court with Kenneth or even McGee with his mid-range though. say the Nugs were playing the lakers for instance. I'd rather have either McGee or Moz guarding Bynum with Kenneth or Moz guarding Gasol.
At least in situations where the Nugs are up against a bigger C like Bynum, Dwight or Hibbert I'd rather see Moz come off the bench at the 5 first before KK.

that was just this offseason, McGee and Blatche actually had a fist fight with each other at a dance club last season if I remember correctly. say what you will about popcorn, but coming to blows with teammates at a dance club is pretty damn bad.
