my internets too slow to torrent stuff anymore. Hey, it can't be worse than my 1 mbit/s that rarely reaches that in torrent. It's just that I'm patient and let it on 24/7. I'm close to a thousand movies and growing. Not to mention the series, books, comics, songs, games, etc.

ive come to the conclusion that comcast throttles my internet.
everytime i open utorrent, my internet just dies. even if nothing's being downloaded/uploaded fast on utorrent. and if i try to leave it on overnight, the internet completely stops working. have to reset the router in the morning to get it going again.

You're probably right - they're notorious for doing that.

I hate certain stats... People say some team will win due to a certain stat line...
like
Portland wins 82% of their games on xmas. 13-2 record.
Hopefully this game isn't decided by a little stat.

From ESPN: ''Two-time All-Star Brandon Roy has a strained left shoulder and is questionable for Portland's Christmas night game against the Denver Nuggets."
I'd love for him to be out but then all the TB fans would be saying the only reason 'Denver' won is because Oden,Fagzilla,Roy were out. Portland thinks Jerryd Bayless is their messiah.
TIME FOR Melo to posterize his ass.

That sucks. I'm sure some sort of throttle happens on mine, since I can forget downloading with any speed at peak times, but it works alright at low usage hours. You might have it badly configured as well - that can take a big toll on your connection. Try this: torrentfreak.com/optimize-your-bittorrent-download-speed/

How do you get comics on there? I think I just got a nerdboner. There are quite a few ways, but the easiest is to go to a torrent search site of your choice (I like http://www.btjunkie.org) and search for either the title of the comic or the author if you have anything specific in mind, or type "dcp" in the search box to see many packages of stuff that get released periodically. I haven't download comics in a while, but got some 4 thousand on my collection.

I've been having to reset my router as of late as well when working with torrents. Comcast.

just did all the steps again. had done them at my old place...but stuff got switched/mixed up and i guess i forgot to redo all the settings. seems to be working so far. but my internet is still slower than it should be (comcast). speedtest.net says i'm getting under 1mb/s d/l. and thats on a night when almost nobody is online. used to be able to get 3mbps easily, and upload way faster. will cross my fingers and hope its still working in the morning.

im trying to figure out how rebounds wont be a problem now. they still have aldridge and howard is still a better rebounder than any of our guys.
i expect us to live in the paint. however if we dont get a decent whistle and we start bombing away from 3 like we do in road games lately, this could be scary.

Howard is old as hell and never averaged more than 8.4 rebounds per game and played 40+mpg in his prime. KMart is easly on par or better than him in the rebounding department.
LMA average 7.7 in 36 mpg. He's played on a team with good rebounders, but he have never stood out as a great rebounder. Nene is easly on par with LMA.
Bird vs ?

i expect us to live in the paint. however if we dont get a decent whistle and we start bombing away from 3 like we do in road games lately, this could be scary. Whistles or not, they no longer have a legit shot blocker on their active roster, and if J.R. and Lawson (and of course Chauncey if he plays) just have an aggressive mentality, they should get plenty of chances to penetrate and make easy layups and dishes inside. Ty to Nene ftw. I know Nene takes a lot of heat for finishing soft, but Lawson just might be the best complimentary player this team has to set him up with easy finishes around the basket, and even though Blake's pretty quick, I don't think he (or Dre - bwark) can keep Ty out of the paint. Incidentally, it grates on me as much as anyone when the Nuggets start settling for jumpers and perimeter shooting. But fans might give them a little to bad a rap for jacking up too many 3s. They're 21st in 3pt attempts in the league (and that's playing at the 4th fastest pace to boot) but are actually a very impressive 4th in the league in 3pt% at .372. They don't abuse the 3 nearly as much as they might, knowing how well they've been shooting it.

This should be a win, nugs should be pumped for being on national tv on christmas. Portland although playing alot better lately are missing most of there rotation player and if roy is out there's no way in hell can we lose this game, that would be an epic joke.
