I think it's clear that if the Nuggets don't get another big man, they have no chance of beating the Lakers.
Pau would have easily been +26 in this game. Bynum and Odom were -22 and -23 respectively, worst on the team.
Also: What does Derrick Stafford have against Melo? Those 3 fouls in the 1st half were questionable at best... if he made those calls against Kobe, Stern would have probably kicked him out of the league.

His scoring will drop to around 12 ppg at best I would imagine. But more importantly, he will always suck no matter how many points he's putting up.

But 50/50 loose-balls calls, I don't know.

weird thing about jennings, is that he was undoubtedly as close to pure pg u could find in this draft. maybe rubio and ty, but thats it. never put up crazy numbers like this in europe...

No one does really. The style of play there is so slow. He also didn't get many minutes. Going to Europe definitely hurt his draft stock a bit, as he was thought of a top 5 pick coming out of high school, but it probably helped develop his game and definitely is maturity playing pro ball in another country. The only thing that sucks about the success he is having is that now other kids will definitely try and do the same thing. Most other kids won't have top 5 pick talent going over there though.

other kids can try all they want but europe isnt just gonna pay some random dude. they reached out to jennings first knowing he was a legit player. he accepted. i doubt much more kids get offers unless they have the same some SERIOUS game, in which case the unc's of college will try to do everything they can first. mayo will def. not be the last college player getting cash, i bet that.

Jeremy Tyler got a contract overseas, and he is nowhere near the prospect Jennings was. The other big thing about Jennings' situation was that he really didn't have much of a choice, because he didn't actually have the grades to play college ball. Here is an article talking about the issue a little moreBut of course, these kids wont see any of that stuff....all they see is that Jennings is doing well now, so obviously Europe is the way to go. Not realizing how different the situations are. Come to think about it, this may actually end up being a big problem for the NBA, the same way kids entering the draft out of high school was. They plugged one hole, only to open another. Jennings was an exception, not the rule. Just like Lebron/KG/Kobe were the exception, and not the rule.
