It's just a shame because I think we win the NBA title over Orlando if we get by the Lakers.

I don't think we're mentally tough enough. Orlando has a good coach and they seem to have a resilience to them. Jesus, I'm starting to sound like Karl.
Hopefully this playoff run helps with our tightness in big games, but we need to work on the eye of the tiger. Our execution in 4th quarters of this series tells all.

Why don't I trust the +/- stat? CBills was -28, okay but how could JR be second worst with -21? JR was the only Nuggets player that showed up for the game tonight. It doesn't make sense to me. Melo had a bad game but his +/- is better than JR's +/-

I like Melo but he didn't even have a mediocre game in the biggest game of the season. That's really not excusable. If that makes me a bandwagoner, well... I don't know... I wouldn't worry about it. Just because you aren't kissing his butt after he failed to show up for the final game of the year doesn't make you a bandwagoner. Bandwagon fans jump on when the going is good then jump off after a bad game....

It doesn't completely surprise me, because I always worried that our so-called "killer instinct" and bravado this playoff run was a bit false, like we still weren't sure of our identity, potential, or skill level. That being said, I expected a much better performance tonight. I really thought we were going to Game 7. Tough loss but I saw this coming. We had a great year regardless.

I agree he did not paly well tonight. I am bummed because I was getting used to MElo taking the game on his shoulders. But he looked lost tonight.

Bandwagon fans follow players more than they follow the team. It's fans like that which make the NBA such a cult of personality instead of being about team play. I wouldn't worry about it. Just because you aren't kissing his butt after he failed to show up for the final game of the year doesn't make you a bandwagoner. I guess the team wasn't as mentally tough as they thought, since it's clear they didn't have their heads in this game collectivelly. I guess outside of Smith no one really played tonight. Billups was awful, Nene was awful, Melo was not much better, and so on.
But as hard as it might be to take such a beating at home to end the season, I guess it is a positive thing for this team that going out in the WCF feels like such a defeat. Great improvement over past years, hopefully not yet peaked. Can't wait for next season o begin.

still missing a piece to the puzzle.
The immaturity is still there in guys like Kmart. Holding someone's foot to trip them when you're in the penalty??? The bad body language is still there with Melo in tough moments.
Terrific season but this is a championship elite team for only 3 quarters every night.

I agree he did not paly well tonight. I am bummed because I was getting used to MElo taking the game on his shoulders. But he looked lost tonight. Definitely, such as the 1 billion times on defense where he was guarding someone who didn't even have the ball while the man WITH the ball was wide open

JR was on the floor when we were in panic, jack up threes mode. +/- is probably not as accurate when you get blown out, because it usually means most of the team had terrible games. Why don't I trust the +/- stat? CBills was -28, okay but how could JR be second worst with -21? JR was the only Nuggets player that showed up for the game tonight. It doesn't make sense to me. Is it ironic Billups was sent home on his home court last year by Boston
