I'm not that worried for this game. I personally think that the chances of Stern desiring another Game 7 is higher than him desiring the Fakers finish us off already. A huge heartbreak is really in store for us in Game 7. Book it.
Not to mention that the Cavs still need to play catch-up. So no need to rush getting the Lakers into the Finals. Game 7 is almost a certainty.

Hopefully we take this, I don't want this to be our last game of the season. Beat LA!

The Nuggets need to win this at home. I couldn't stand seeing that team celebrate on our home court again. Especially if I'm forced to witness it twice. Too much for me to bear.

Easiest win of the season vs a decent team!

We have to go all out and win this game, then worry about the fixed Game 7 later.

It's win or go/stay home time.

My bullshit positive spin rationale:
The Nuggets weren't going to win 3 in a row against the Lakers anyways, but winning 2 in a row is feasible, so it's better to lose game 5 on the road, go back and take 6 at home and go into 7 with some re-established momentum and confidence and close out there like they did in game 2.

If Billups stop being a choker, JR grow a brain, and Carmelo is Melo, we'll win. Odds are against us, though. Billups been a choker for a long time and JR been brainless for a long time. A nice birthday present would be Melo getting some help. Lets see what happens.

Nuggets opened at -6 LOL, Game #3 -3.5, Game #4 -4.5, Game #6 -6. Linesmakers agree that this will be a Nuggets blowout! Linesmakers know the Nuggets are basically unbeatable at home, and yet there will be some Laker stupid gamblers betting the Lakers in Game #6. Game #7 is a different story?

Assuming the Nuggets win Game #6
My guess is the Lakers will be favored by -5.5, Lakers were favored by 6.5 in game #1 at home and -6 in game #2 at home. The Lakers are the most heavily bet team in the NBA, and if you constantly bet the Lakers just because you are a fan, you will be a losing gambler.
Even Jack Nicholson has the Nuggets in Game #6, don't let the fandom fool you. There are so many Laker blind bettors out there, that the books luv this time of year!

I just hope JR finally snaps out of his shooting slump. We need a cold-blood transfusion for all these streaky hotheads on the team.
