Look it's just opinions... obviously my opinions differ from yours but I never force anyone to accept them. Why do I feel like you guys are threatened by my opinions? Are they actually convincing?
No opinions are idiotic. I started threads with intention to spark healthy responses. I have again and again said in the "Melo for Kobe trade" thread that the scenario is near impossible but IF it happens then what would you guys say/ do/ react"? That's what I'm interested in.
You guys made me feel like I just created a "Melo for Raef LaFrentz" thread, which would be idiotic.
And corona, I never said Dirk didn't have to step up... I said his teammates needed to step up too. It's not like his teammates were there and Dirk wasn't. All of them were not ready for the playoffs, but at least Dirk was still trusted with the ball and he delivered in Game 5. All I'm saying is you're making Dallas' first round exit seem totally Dirk's fault whereas it's all the Mavs' fault. Dirk could have averaged 30 points in the series but without his teammates, the result would have been the same.

first snake, check your PM and reply back to me. secondly, heres the deal for the rest of the board (as this snake situation has gotten far out of hand and taken over the board - the season starts in like 2 weeks and all we talk about is snake - thats not right) - no more insults/attacks on snake
- no more indirect comments towards or about snake
- if you feel that snake has posted something inappropriate, annoying, rude, unacceptable, etc (basically anything that shouldnt be there...that does not include the reason "i dont agree with him") PM me about it - do not reply. do not attack. do not make a rude comment in return. just PM and i will take care of it (please include link to the post in question). any post that falls into one of those categories (or anything close to it) will be deleted without question.
- remember, you can always use the ignore button too.
what im trying to do is target the cause for all of this while maintaining a degree of free speech. if it turns out to be snake and he in fact trolling, i will take care of it. if it turns out he is ok and others are overreacting because they dont agree, i will take care of that. like i said earlier the season starts very soon and the board is all about snake - im going to fix that. lets talk about melo, ai, nene, kmart, and the rest of the team that is going to dominate the northwest and western conference. if anyone has any questions, comments or suggestions, just PM me. other wise, lets get NT back on track. |

Over here in the great country of USA, we have this complete idiot running the country, who when shown he is wrong about something, he beats his chest and sticks to those dumb ideas. I'm sure you've heard of this man, yes? Well, that's exactly what you do. Some opinions can be idiotic, and when shown that, you stick to them without being able to admit they are wrong. Just like the idiot running this country over here. Now, do you want to act like this man? I'm sure you could find a lot of other better people to try and take after. And no one here has anything against healthy discussions, but when one person in that discussion can't admit when he is wrong, that's when the problem comes up. So, just stop and try to think a bit more when creating a discussion, and accept what others have to say. There is nothing wrong about admitting when someone has pointed out when you are wrong, only a childish boy sticks to his guns when someone has pointed out he is actually holding bananas. Do you want to be that that guy? Most of the world can see how dumb he is. So be a man, admit when you've been shown to be wrong, and most here won't have a problem with you. And my apologies to anyone here who is in the GOP, I know, must suck being lead by such a boy.  |

When you don't agree with other people's opinions, they are wrong? I don't agree with some of Corona/ TroyF/ scooter's points but I don't think they're wrong for holding their opinions.
If you're talking about my attitude then maybe you have a point. But I don't think "I'm wrong" because of my opinion. It's something that I can't agree with.

I don't think anyone can tell me to shut up and change because I create a thread that is not close to being crazy. That's Kobe, not LaFrentz or a bench player. - If anyone thinks I agree that Melo should be traded for Kobe then you're wrong. I would never ever trade Melo for anyone... like I numerously said again and again, it's just a "scenario" thread. "What if" - If anyone thinks I think Melo will be traded for Kobe then you're wrong. Again, it's just a frickin "scenario" thread. - If anyone thinks I was in serious tone about the thread... no I wasn't. It was more like a "for fun, what if" thread. You never think Armageddon will happen, but could it? What if? You never think your girlfriend/ boyfriend is cheating on you, but you must have thought about it, even for mere seconds. What if? The point is.....sure opinions are never right nor wrong, because there is no such thing as right and wrong(if you want to get technical, everything in this world is just a matter of opinions and beliefs). But when so many people disagree with what you're doing or what you have to say, then there is a good chance its probably retarded. Of course you have the right to state your opinions(at least in the USA), however you need to be aware that people aren't always going to agree with them(in your case, usually never) and it is likely that people are going to react to what you say in some way(again, that is their right to do that). If you can't handle the way people react to what you have to say, then don't say it. But if you're going to post things that other people find controversial for whatever reason, you better damn well be prepared for whatever reaction you get from them. If you would just stop posting dumbass things that you know are going to annoy people, and stop trying to be 'funny' all the time, then you'd probably be fine. If you're going to continue to post every thought that crosses through your little mind, then you have no right to complain when people state THEIR opinions about what you have to say. My opinion is that you are a retarded jackass. You may disagree with that opinion, but I have the right to state it....so deal with it, the way we have to deal with all of yours. |
