recently there has been some complaints about sigs and avatars...specifically about content and size. id like to let people put whatever they want in them but for the respect of the board, that isnt always possible. try and be considerate about what you put in them and if anyone has a complaint about them, just PM me. the board should be about the nuggets and not the extra stuff on the side.  |

Maybe we could put a vertical size limit.. (like 90 pixels) and a limit on the number of lines of text in the bottom sig area. I know I like to read this board on my Q sometimes, and its a drag to scroll through all the extra garbage.

90 is wack ass hell.......i say something like 200 pix, or 2.5 inches(slightly bigger than what Rock's takes up)....

why not just do away with picture signatures, or signatures all together?
i don't look at sigs to identify people, i look at their username/avatar.

Why does it matter?
If the signature is "innapropriate" is one thing, but is it really that big of a deal if you have to hold down for mouse button for a second longer?

you can TURN OFF sigs in your profile. if you dont want to see sigs or avatars, just turn the option to NO.

I *could* turn them all off but then I wouldnt be able to see anyone's sigs. Why don't we just institute some guidelines. This site is an absolute pig on mobile devices.
Maybe I'll bring in a new sig for a couple days for a test... to see how y'all feel about it.
