its come to my attention that certain people are "owning" the same person over and over and over (more than one person is guilty of this). now it could be each owning is for a different post, but i HIGHLY doubt it. and this is happening in more than one situation.
to me, its abusing the system and done out of spite.
should we limit owning to one person, per day?
you can own more than one person on any given day but not the same person twice or more. seems fair.
if you think someone is doing this, PM me and ill fix it.

I don't think you should bother Rocko. The and 1 and owning system is just a gimmick anyways. IMO of course.

I'd say we should start by making the info public. Post an announcement that says "if you and-1 or own anyone, I have the right to post that you did it, and I won't edit out your IP address." Then just give us the info on the and-1's and ownings so we at least know who's abusing the system.
Then, whatever you decide to do, it needs to be done in the software. It doesn't make sense for you to have to keep going back and fixing it manually in each account. If you decide one own per day, then set the software to only allow one own per day -- or if you can't, and people keep abusing the system, set the software to not allow them to do it any more.

i cannot limit the owning however i can modify karma points to nullfiy what people have done (if they abuse it).
