Aaron Gordon said after the game he feels “okay.” He said he was going to get into treatment right away and see how he feels tomorrow. We're fucked. We’ll know on Sunday. Hamstrings don’t heal in 2 days and if it’s really hurt, he won’t be able to jump or accelerate. I bet he’ll try to play regardless though. Just who he is

If we survive but lose him for the playoffs, we will have to watch Randle dismantling us. That would suck

Strawther is 6/10 from the 3 point line this postseason (5/9 in this series)

How good a storyline would this be.
The NBA presents SGA with his MVP before game 7, we use that as extra motivation, go into OKC, Joker drops a 40 piece and we move onto the Western Conference Finals.
The NBA are at risk of giving Shai the award with the Thunder no longer in the playoffs if they hold off. With the bloke who should have won having knocked him out.
Very interesting storyline.

Jamal Murray now has more 25 point playoff games than: Devin Booker, Jalen Brunson, Joel Embiid, Kevin Garnett, Tracy McGrady, Bill Russell, Derrick Rose, Penny Hardaway, Chauncey Billups, Vince Carter (via DNVR postgame) I have more 25 point playoff games then Embiid.

Considering what actually happened at the end of the season (GM and HC firing) this team has done great job in playoffs. Clippers were damn good, and would have beat any single team out there in round 1. OKC is legendary good (just because its 68, there are better teams) and team pushed game 7.
Only thing to hope for now is, please get good GM and be in sync. Set things right, do the right moves, and this team can win it all, not once but multiple times over the next few seasons. Fix the damn bench!

This series starts in Oklahoma, Denver wins, it's only right to finish in Oklahoma with Denver win.
Guys can do it, they showed it, our starters have been better than their starters in this one, very small margin, gotta believe.
Go Denver!

Essentially guarantees that Murray/Jokic play 45 minutes each. Would not be surprised if SGA plays close to that too which theoretically could work against OKC. Outside of the OT Game 3 he has yet to play more than 40 minutes in a playoff game. I think at the end of the day Game 7 will come down to role players. And unfortunately I think OKC has the better role players and they are at home. You kind of just have to hope Murray/Jokic have a Minnesota Game 7 and that OKCs big guys wilt.

Impossible to predict game 7. Both Shaq and Kenny said, they better win G6 because they don't want to be playing game 7 vs Joker and Murray. Those dudes must know something more then us keyboard coaches. Nuggets are so inconsistent I have no clue what to expect. What I do know, OKC won't be hitting jumpers, and nerves will kick in, both players and coaches. Fans will be nervous, reactions after any Denver scoring will be different then what they experienced. For sure our guys know how to handle that. Maybe, playing away in game 7 is a blessing (in this series). I also don't think refs will rig this, as this is best of basketball worldwide. All eyes will he watching, and with replays, it's not gonna happen. Need to recognize the criteria on time and use it wisely.
As what comes after, either Minny or off season. I don't think next GM has a hard job, I think he has probably the best possible job on the planet. This roster is so messed up for this season, because of old GM and Coach, that all you gotta do is fix their mistakes that everyone can see. Trust some young guys more, make use of slots occupied by Zeke, Šarić and DJ, develop Holmes, Straw, Payton, or turn them into something. Finally, sit down and make Murray play from day 1, and deal with MPJ. Again, I don't believe in him. PJ Washington would be like a cheat code compared to him. That irrational fast release, off balance is clear sign dude has low BB IQ. They close out on his ass so fast, with a pump fake he could have drill shots 5 times a night. Zone, 5 times he blows his assignment. There is literally one player on his weak side, and every time he gets behind him for a dunk. Enough. Hopefully they deal his ass regardless of what happens next.

Just don't see how they win a Game 7 with a hampered AG and I really think he's going to be barely able to move out there. It sucks. Was a clear f***ing foul too.
Milan hit on a great point too. MPJ was so bad in the zone yesterday. Both in the dunker and at the top of the key. Just gets confused so easily. It's crazy.

because game 7s are what the Nuggets do and OKC has never been tested like this before.

Hopefully they deal his ass regardless of what happens next. With what you just described he sucks life out of Jokic and Murray on D which affects their ofense in demanding games. I would never trade Murray before I see him with another player instead of mpj that can defend and take at least 10%-15% of defensive load off Murray and Jokic but be able to match or beat mpj's scoring of 2-3 points on 14% fg

I mean if AG can't play at a high level (he wasn't good yesterday, reminded me about his game 7 performance last year) then it's going to be really difficult. I agree with JB that our experience may prevail but man I don't even want to think about it. I still feel sick about game 5

They won't trade Murray for sure. But MPJ is not worth more then Gordon. Enough of this, I hope. Yeah, we need to look at the whole picture. This team reached playoffs with Burton and Monte. Bro, team does not need MPJ for regular season. Now, if we analyze playoffs last 3 seasons, and take away Lakers series, what has MPJ done? Gave us spacing? Rebounding? Is that worth 35+? No way. Money is also not an issue, it ain't my money. But the low IQ stuff he does, after 7 years is mind-blowing. Kudos to him for being a warrior and playing with those backs, but he did it to be a millionere not to help others, he did it for himself and nobody is taking there away. He didn't improve one bit since 2023. Still makes dumb decisions, still is full stealth if he misses his shots, and still does not know how to let the game come to him.

Nuggets should absolutely trade MPJ for Cam Johnson and D'lo in the summer. D'lo is expiring and would be the best 6th man on the Nuggets in the Jokic era and with Cam, you're losing a few rebounds and gaining a way more reliable shooter at a fraction of the cost.

And just to add the value of his spacing as some guys praised his +/-. Over the last 13 PO games his +/- was by far the worst of all starters. He's the only starter that lost his minutes over that time frame despite not playing many minutes with proven losers Russ and Watson who lost their minutes by 72 and 73 points respectively

interesting stat... not counting gm 2, cause that one isn't important
non Jokic minutes gm 1: -8 in 5:35 gm 3: +4 in 9:17 gm 4: -6 in 5:17 gm 5: +1 in 3:52 gm 6: +1 in 7:10
overall, -8 in 31:11
non Jamal minutes gm 1: -10 in 3:45 gm 3: -5 in 5:05 gm 4: +7 in 7:00 gm 5: -2 in 6:01 gm 6: -16 in 5:40
overall, -26 in 27:31
non AG minutes gm 1: -14 in 8:57 gm 3: -6 in 6:39 gm 4: -1 in 9:53 gm 5: -7 in 11:09 gm 6: -5 in 9:46
overall. -33 in 46:24
no, AG in not role player. if Jamal is Jokic's right hand man, AG is left...
also, these stats doesn't mean AG or Jamal playing better then Joke, or they are more important... thing is, Jamal and AG are usually out together, and when Jokic sits they are both in. I dont think this will change, especially if AG is injured, but it still gives you enough evidence that you can sit Jokic and survive. if AG can give you 10 minutes in gm 7 and nothing more, then bring him of the bench and play him in non Jokic minutes. you need to find 3-4 minutes at start of 2nd and 4th for Jokic to rest. I can not explain how important that is.
game 2 vs Clippers in 4th: 27 out of 107 points allowed game 4 vs Clippers in 4th: 34 out of 99 points allowed game 5 vs Thunder in 4th: 34 out of 112 points allowed
I'm already pissed because I f'ing know Adelman will play Jokic all 24 minutes in second half unless Nuggets are up by 40 at start of 4th... and they are not going to be up by 40

We should have done it much, much sooner when some of us were crying about it. Now for the Nets to do that we would need to serve them magic mushrooms first for a few days and then let them know that we have a good deal for them
