He's the complete opposite of what he was last year. This year he's playing his ass off but being scared. Last year he would launch up any shot in any situation without fear and otherwise didn't try at all. It's utterly baffling. |

He cut to hoop for layup on Jokic pass during his stint, and didn’t force anything. That was about a minute after he checked in. He disappeared entirely for 11 minutes after that. Hid from the ball and passed up any potential shots while his defender lagged 15 feet off him. |

We have to play zone not cause of Jokic but because MPJ and PWat can't keep anyone in front of them. But especially MPJ just a disaster if a contract. Taking a macro view he's almost unplayable vs. The super physical teams in West i.e. MIN and OKC. That just kills us. We have no one who can get downhill outside of Russ and somewhat Braun. Every OKC guy can drive.

But on the other side, teammates are totally ignoring him. When he's on the floor with JS and RW, neither of them will pass the ball to him. It's pretty annoying to be honest. Not sure if he'd hit some shots if shooting more but not shooting more is not just on him |

That is again true but the conclusion is wrong. He's getting rid of the ball quickly when he's not in position to shoot or attack the rim but that's the proper way of playing. He's not point guard to drible the ball 30 feet away from the basket. We know what happens when mpj is trying to do something with the ball. Again, not saying he'd be much better if he gets the ball more when in the corner (probably not) but it's annoying how Julian thinks that every shot between 2 of them he needs to take |
