With zeke looking solid and vlatko out of deep rotation, really don't get why they moved up for a PF when have no guard depth.
Pretty irresponsible having no picks left to re organize broken depth chart

Zeke really aggressive switching to the ball carrier twice in a row. Made two great plays but both could've backfired easily as he switched the PG onto Hartenstein both times

DJ probably telling Zeke exactly what I just said, he just pulled him to the sideline and coached him up

Terrible call, even the OKC announcers think we should've won that challenge
Shai leaves a Zeke chalk outline on the court

How does Zeke have 0 turnovers? He lost the ball out of bounds twice. I guess they gave those to the guys who threw him the ball.

Straw is so much better than I thought. He’s slithery, gets to paint with ease for his floaters, plays with energy every minute, and isn’t a slouch on defense with his length.
Now, if he’s grown out of his chucking habits, we have a real find on our hands.

It's still only practice but yeah, there have been nothing but positive signs from Strawther all Summer League and preseason long. I knew last year he'd be able to stay on the court long term for Malone because of his defensive engagement and his low propensity towards turnovers. If the shooting catches up to the rest of his game, he's a quality player for a long time in this league.

I didn't really question that decision. I looked at it as a grim necessity regardless of Strawther. I still greatly question letting Holiday walk and/or not replacing him with an equivalent or better guy. Strawther missed like six weeks last year, and as we're already seeing tonight we can't really afford to lose any of our top four guards. Pickett is unplayable and Trey is looking like he's behind where CG was last year (which is okay, he's a younger and more raw guy, but it means we may not be able to lean on him for even ~25 games like we did with Gillespie last year).

Rage timeout by Malone after CB blown layup leads to coast to coast layup.
CB is doing himself no favors tonight.
