If we have to rest Murray then this is probably a better than 50% chance LAL wins the game. Doesn't mean we can't win, but cmon guys, you can't play a playoff game with RJ as your only PG, I was onthe bandwagon of not playing RJ at all because we could survive the Jokic on, Murray off minutes without a PG, and Murray could run those duties when Jokic was sitting, but asking RJ to play 25+ minutes in a playoff game is ludicrous. He's washed, he by himself will make it extremely difficult vs. LAL. Jokic will need to shoot 40 times minimum tonight. We also need to get AG going as well. I just can't saya I'm super optimistic of any game that doesn't have Murray playing. Having said all that. And I'm sure we'll get to it later if we get bounced, but the Murray health situation is starting to be a problem. After we lost in the bubble to LAL, I felt like we were entering our prime Contention window. We traded for AG, we won 4 in a row, and then Murrray blows out his knee. Misses the next year and we waste two playoff seasons to that injury. Now the injury bug is back again. I'm just very frustrated over the whole situation. Especially with our cap situation, we going to havae to make some tough decisions going forward. We havee 3-4 more seasons of prime Championship opportunity, and we can't waste that. I think murray will play, its mind games to get LA to think.

I already feel sick The Denver crowd was quite loud during games 1 and 2, if they bring the same energy -- that alone will be huge toward Denver winning Nuggets might have the best homecourt in the NBA. And the Nuggets will definitely need the home crowd against Minnesota

Your realistic view sounds awfully Rock-like. As you said, my view is realistic. Sometimes, not often, realism and Rock’s takes converge. It’s like the proverbial broken clock that is right twice a day. Rock’s fears and sense of gloom are now meeting with our health problems which might spell doom against Minny, assuming we get there, which I think we will with some added effort tonight.

Updated injury report still says questionable for Murray. At least he wasn't downgraded to doubtful.

If Murray doesn't play he probably has a major injury considering the stuff he has played through, throughout his career. If it were major he wouldn't be questionable. I think the fear is that playing on a minor calf strain could cause a more serious injury to the knee/ankle/achilles/quad/hamstring if he's out there trying to compensate for it.

Calf strain is a terrifying term tbh. All the more reason to take this game serious and win it. Get Murray more rest.

I just want to win, avoid history, get one win to avoid being swept by minnesota and go quietly into the offseason
I’ve completely stopped thinking about a title. Not even a remote possibility at this point. This series has drained me emotionally and I’m done. I just want it over with

I say we can beat this Lakers team without Murray. There is a reason they finished as 8th seed.
They are motivated… well so is Jokic and Co, in front of their crowd.
Rest Murray for wolves.

everything will be copacetic once the Nuggets return to making 40% (or better) of their wide open 3s.

Of course we can win at home with Murray out and a Herculean effort from Jokic, who would probably take 35 shots, make 20 of them including 3 3Pt shots, and a half dozen FTs. He would be approaching 50 points tonight in Murray’s absence. Take the over on Jokic points tonight, whether or not Murray plays.

This team won't go far without Jamal and we can easily lose this game no mater how well Jokic plays. Last night Suns lost despite Durant/Booker scoring 82 pts on 74% FG (insane). Jokic alone can't beat Lakers even if he scores 50 on 60% fg. It's not only Jamals scoring, it's a 2 men game that is not guardable and it's more important than just Murray's scoring

We are going down in the history books aren’t we?
The curse always wins in the end.
And to make it worse had to be the lakers
