Reggie/Braun/Watson on the floor together have a -6.73 Netrtg that trio + Murray is -3.32 Netrtg. Reggie + the starters is +4.81. survivable, but he's still tanking their effectiveness. there's no good option. he's a bad basketball player. That +4.81 is a big problem. That's what makes Jokic look worse on the court as he doesn't play Jokic ball but his ball

It's probably a good idea to abandon the strategy of staggering Murray and Jokic. We want that combo out there together as much as possible.
Just survive the other minutes. It shouldn't be that hard as long as we stagger other guys. Make sure you at least have MPJ out there for some spacing.

MPJ + the bench is very defendable. defend Mike like he's prime Klay and let Reggie, Braun and Watson hoist up brick after brick. we need a Monte Morris PG to make that work.
for whatever reason, the coaching staff has been reluctant to utilize MPJ as a main scoring threat. perhaps they're glass casing him and don't want to increase his usage because he's a high risk for reinjury, which is entirely rational and understandable.

The problem with the bench unit sans Murray is that you don't have a screener to free anyone open as DAJ obviously isn't going to play. Your best bet is most likely to just utilize Reggie/AG in 2 man actions and hope AG can get the other team in foul trouble. MPJ isn't capable at creating for others so the Nuggets are never going to let him just clear out and cook on a regular basis. The bench will be fine once Murray returns because he's capable of playing other benches to a net neutral.
