I'll never understand how a player with Mike's shooting ability will suddenly lose all confidence in his shot and go into a prolonged funk. Mike Tyson didn't forget how to punch after getting knocked out by Buster Douglas.

Happens in baseball and basketball too. baseball isn't a real sport so that doesn't count. I am well aware of slumps and hot streaks, but Mike seems to lack the confidence of all other elite shooters when things go wrong and will go an extended cold streak for that reason. |
