If you're going to rest Murray do it at home against the Spurs, not on the road against the Heat If you're talking about the game on Friday against the Spurs, it's still a road game too. On espn's schedule it appears as a home game, but it turns out the game is just being played in Austin instead of San Antonio. I saw that awhile ago and it confused me.

Either way, the point is the same. We are still actively seeking the 1 seed and turned down a White House visit to pursue it. Resting Murray against the Heat is probably not an option.

I'm relieved the Nuggets will not be visiting the WH, for reasons outside of seeding.

I'm relieved the Nuggets will not be visiting the WH, for reasons outside of seeding. They should do away with the whole thing. White House visits, national anthems at sporting events, military appreciation nights. It's all very disgusting. I wanted to puke when they put "scan this QR code to join the military" on the screen during the pregame last night.

Kiki returns. He was the military guy. They should have gone to the White House. It may be the last sane presidential option.

It's some "dear leader" grovelling propaganda BS and it has nothing to do with sports. It's only different from the Saudi prince and his sportswashing by degree, not by type.

It should be an option. Murray has played a ton of minutes over the past 10 days or so and was exhausted late in yesterday’s game. Based on how he looked in that late game stretch, it struck me he needs a couple of days off. Doing what can be done to try to keep the starters healthy is more important than the #1 seed IMO.

Dick may end up as a 6th man role on a playoff team at 20-22 mpg but definitely has game. He’s a 20 year old rookie who is playing really well and is an excellent shooter as a 6’6” guard. In his only season at Kansas he shot 40% on threes and 85% on FTs (basically identical to Murray’s excellent shooting in his freshman season at Kentucky) and that has held up very well in the NBA as he’s shooting 37% on threes and 92% on FTs as a rookie. Obviously, he could turn out to be just a Kennard type shooting specialist, but I haven’t seen nearly enough to know.

He feels much like a possible Austin Reeves archetype, but I don't know if he has the creation. Reeves does well in PnR. Haven't seen enough from Dick in that yet. I'm not saying he can't be a 15-20 ppg scorer on a non-playoff team, I just see him as a 5th starter 1st sub as his ceiling on a playoff contender. IMO. You're correct he's still very young so has room for more growth.
