In every single thread there is active discussion on trade ideas, suggestions etc. Thought we should have a separate one for that purpose only.

On that note, i don't think that we need to trade for anyone at PF position. We have Millsap now, Grant is decent and can only be better the more he is playing with starters going forward and we have Bol Bol which can turn out to be a perfect fit next to Jokic in the future. That's just my position.

I expect TC to trade Beasley for a second rounder because he sucks at making trades and waits until everyone’s value is the lowest

No need to trade Beasley if you're not getting a great deal. Keep him, see what type of deal he gets in the summer. Could help us come playoff time. His 4Q defense against the Mavs was huge too. Maybe he's starting to get it (probably not)

Love is gonna be dealt somewhere. That is 95% likely. Portland can do it, but do they want to? We SHOULD do it, but probably won’t. Where will he end up?

Love is a good guy for a team who isn't in the playoffs but has a chance aka a team like Portland or Phoenix. Phoenix makes a lot of sense IMO.

I don't know about you guys, but IF Knicks go after Andre Drummond i would try to be a part of that trade for Mitchell Robinson. Don't know what would it take but i think it would be a no brainer upgrade long term over Plumdog. 7ft1 with a 7ft4 wingspan. Plum is 6ft11 with a 6ft11 wingspan. He has T rex arms. He is better defender than Plumdog imo, not better passer tho. And in 22 min he's averaging 10 points 7 boards and 1.8 blocks, would be an awesome duo with Bol Bol in the 2nd unit going forward. That dude would be a serious upgrade on our bench, and let Monte run the plays without the pressure of a begging Plumlee in the post.

Copy/Paste from the ringer article on MPJ:
According to Bobby Marks of ESPN, the Nuggets offered Beasley a three-year, $30 million extension on his rookie deal last summer, but he turned it down to enter restricted free agency this offseason. Beasley, who is still only 23, would make sense for any of the five young teams with significant cap space this summer: Atlanta, Charlotte, Cleveland, Memphis, and New York.
Hernangómez, who will also enter restricted free agency this summer, is an athletic, 6-foot-9 combo forward with 3-point range who has shown promise when he’s gotten to play. Craig is a veteran defensive specialist who started 11 playoff games for the Nuggets last season.
Shams Charania of The Athletic reported three weeks ago that the Nuggets were willing to listen to trade offers for Beasley and Hernangómez. Both will probably be gone in the offseason—Porter has made them expendable. The Nuggets can’t give a long-term contract to someone who doesn’t play much, and doing so would likely put them in the luxury tax, which they’ve been unwilling to do of late.

I like to play armchair GM, but that's a very tough guess. I don't think the Nuggets are a very good fit. I understand Love's strengths, but the Nuggets need defense from the "complementary" positions and that's just not Love's forte. I do like the idea of him being able to anchor the 2nd unit at center, but I think they need more defense at PF with the starting unit. I know he wants to go to a contender, but one team that actually makes some sense to me is the Hawks. They have a slew of big expiring contracts to trade -- Parsons, Turner, Crabbe -- and they have future protected firsts from the Nets and Thunder, so they have something to offer the Cavs beyond just getting Love's contract off the books.

That's just my position. What if Grant + a little something can fetch the Latvian Laser? I don't see the Nuggets trading Grant 1/2 season after trading for him. He hasn't had much time with the starters, and he played much better in the Mavs' game when he did. Plus, in that game he showed what he can offer defensively against a talented mid-sized player. I don't see the Nuggets giving up on that potential when they are shallow at options to defend the many such guys they may have to face in a playoff series -- Doncic, Harden, Leonard, George, Lebron. Barton has been way better defensively than in previous years, but yet we haven't seen that many games where he's had to defend any of those really talented players. Craig is an option but in the past he's been better guarding smaller guys. The Nuggets acquired Grant and his Bird rights for a reason, and the fact he hasn't been great in a very small sample size isn't enough for them to change their minds.

blackhill I agree with scooter about Grant. He can only be better as the time goes by. Him playing average in contract year is actually a good thing given the cap space we are going to have going forward. By picking up Millsap option TC thought about bringing him back on MLE next year i think and implement Bol Bol down the road. Only question is can Grant translate to starting PF the more uncle Paul declines, nothing else. Position of need should be 1) backup center (Baynes, Mitchell Robinson); 2) experienced PG to take the load from Jamal as PG that can play both positions (Jrue,DRose)

blackhill Bertans will be around 15 million $ per year player. I don't know how much would Wizards ask for him. If we can get him for, let's say Beasley,Juancho + 2nd round pick, then yes/maybe, i don't know. Nothing more than that imo. How can we make such a deal and still resign Grant and Bertans without going into luxury would be interesting... I love Davis, he played for my favorite basketball club Partizan Belgrade. He was deadly 3 point shooter, awful defender for his size and had poor ball handling skills then and he is the same player now. So, besides he has been given the opportunity to play big minutes for bad team that play fast on offense with freedom of taking any shot he wants with Wizards, he is Malik Beasley with size. He was in high 40s% with 3 point shooting in SAS, yet Popovich let him go. I doubt that he can be a starting caliber SF on a good team and mainly because of his defense and how he would fit on that end of the court with Jokic,Murray...thanks but no thanks imo.
