With the Windy City Bulls, ugh nuggets need G league team. 8 points 9Boards 4blocks He has some Jokic like Moves on floater and mid range. Also had 4 nice blocks. That's where he could really help the team, hopefully starting next year. There video on YouTube but my tablet is acting funny and not letting me post it.

I believe Bol Bol is part of Nugs future.
Teach him well and let him help lead the way
Show him all the beauty he possesses inside
Give him a sense of pride to make it easier

looks like he has pretty decent touch, and his timing to elevate on blocks is really good. Also looks like even a dude like Monte would be able to body him up and push him out of the play because he's so thin.

There's that, but on the flip side, he can hit shots and block a lot of shots, so you hope that the good outweighs the bad. I think the "bodying him up" thing is mostly about rebounding opportunities, while his potential value is primarily in hitting shots and challenging shots. Health is the biggest issue in my mind, since his legs are so long and skinny and always will be. His knees just seem really vulnerable.

Always looked frail and prone to getting hurt, but he had a pretty durable career IIRC.

He has a nice shooting touch and good timing on those blocks. But in the NBA half of those layups he blocked would be thunderous dunks. Dunno how he's going to deal with a 250 pounder flying straight at the rim. He doesn't look all that quick either. But his dad was a decent roleplayer in the league for a long time so once he puts on a little weight and gets more experience against elite talent he might be decent.

He looked better in game 2. So far not a bad start. I didn’t think he’d be playing so soon

Go to 1:45 and remind yourself that he is 7'2 and can make step back jumpers.

How the hell were we lucky enough to get this dude in the second round? Should have been a lottery pick.
Is he an RFA once the 2 way expires?

"A Two-Way player (other than a first round draft pick whose third or fourth year option was not exercised) will be a Restricted Free Agent at the conclusion of a Two-Way Contract if he was on the NBA team’s active or inactive list for 15 or more days of the NBA regular season in the last season of such contract and provided that the team makes a Qualifying Offer to the player." www.nba.com/free-agency-explained#two-way

Before the draft I was here talking about how they were eye balling Bol if he slipped and how they would go get a draft pick for him, since they didn't have a pick of their own. The whole plan was to stash him in gleague for a year but at rate he going he most likely will be on a NBA paycheck by time season is winding down. I drool like homer over doughnuts thinking of a lineup of Jokic Bol Grant MPJ Murray

Bol is not going to another team unless an incredibly great trade offer comes along and he is part of the package but if I'm nuggets I'm sitting still at moment with MPJ and Bol and won't include them in any trade offers a

Its turning into such a dynamic team. And Bol has the agility and skill to give us quality minutes now. Thank god they did a 2-way - he wouldn’t have been an rfa on a second round contract.

All thE said Bol looks promising but he does need some weight. Shaq said he would pick Bol over Zion!

looks healthy to me. I hope teams feel stupid I was pumped we got him and have high hopes but it's such a strange situation looking back. I wanna say there were reports of personality issues along with the health concerns. He's what like 7'2 and 208 pounds so maybe teams just never saw him staying healthy? I get guys fall all the time. We saw it with MPJ. 2nd round tho? It's not like he's was just a highly ranked HS prospect who never played in college/lived up the hype etc. He balled out in his short stint as a freshmen in college. Averaged 21/10 with 2.7 BPG on 56/52/75 shooting splits. His movement is so freakish at his size. Insane length. Potential shooting ability and great touch. He basically has no position defensively but it's 2019 and there's teams would absolutely sacrifice defensively to offense big time. He'll be able to roam around and alter a ton of shots so he does have some defensive potential even if you won't be able to rely on any 1 vs 1 defense. There had to be some stuff getting spread/stuff behind the scenes going on that is hopefully all bullshit.

IMO the cause of his drop must have been serious injury concerns.
Mares had a pod with a woman thats known him for years and she couldn't understand the personality rumours. Yeah he doesnt have a high motor and likely never will be a hustle player but he genuinely seem like a great kid. Wouldn't like to speculate otherwise
MPJ on the other hand seems more of an character risk.
