Bummer. Could have used a wing. We have no shot in the buyout market given how deep we are.
There were wings who went for very little. That's the only disappointing thing. It's not the end of the world, but is definitely a TC trend.
I imagine nobody wanted Lydon. He walks this summer. But Lyles would have been nice to move. Even Juancho if it meant being more ready for playoff basketball.

Nuggets do nothing and fall further down the west power rankings

Bryan Colangelo left Masai with the Derozan/Valanciunas/Lowry core. Masai traded one of them for Kawhi. another for Marc Gasol. and almost got Mike Conley for the third. the man knows how to make deals. Our Gm likes to rebuild divisional rivals and let assets wilt away for nothing People always say “so and so isn’t tradable” and then you see what actual good Gms are able to do. Good players are being moved for nothing. But let’s keep our extremely flawed team intact. Smart move Tim.

There were moves to be made and we just don’t take advagange Milwaukee is well above us and they just kept improving and making smart Moves.

lol
Memphis, New Orleans, and both LA's are out of contention. Nobody that's nipping at our heels did anything substantial. The Blazers got Skal (ooo scary) and OKC and Utah stood pat.
We're fine rock. Injuries are the real problem right now.

Any warm body is an improvement over Lydon. A wing or a pg.

Any warm body is an improvement over Lydon. A wing or a pg. That’s for sure. RoLo, Kanter, and Teodosic are all gonna be out there. Ellington likely going to Detroit. Lydon is 100% deadweight.

FWIW, if I’m Tim I pick up Teodosic and waive Goodwin. A vet like him for PG depth would be nice, and Jokic would be happy. That said, Goodwin likely goes when IT is activated.

Man Masai always trades for players for unders. I don't think he's ever completed a player trade of equal value.

These are the times good teams make smart moves to move up the standings. How does tc look at this team and conclude “everything is fine!” Now we will gradually fall down the standing, limp into the postseason with a low seed, lose in the first round like we always do and then convince ourselves in the summer that it was a successful season because “the goal was always just to make the playoffs” Good teams don’t think like that.

Teodosic have no intention to play in NBA. He stated that 5 months ago. He wants to come back to Europe and finish his carer in Red Star prolly...
Edit: Only chance to stay in NBA is if Divac convince him to come to Sac and be a backup PG to Fox in PO push and maybe stay another year but i doubt it. He set his mind to return to Europe.

I really wanted Davis but it'd make more sense for us in an offseason trade situation.

I feel like I'm getting trolled but I'll answer anyway. We really didn't have to do anything. What's going on in the East is a totally different scenario and has no impact on our playoff picture. We're going to the playoffs regardless but overwhelming odds are we're not getting to the finals, so let's just see how that plays out before making any risky or drastic moves. Just get to the playoffs, hopefully get HCA for a round or two. If by some miracle we get to the finals and are trounced by the newly fortified Bucks, I'll take it.
