I hate the move from the Nuggets perspective, giving more chances to LAL to make it with the LAC out of playoffs practically (and btw retaining their pick owed to Boston if they make it to the PO) LAC clearing monster space to try to grab some LA lovers this offseason and getting a bunch of picks is a good move for them, that roster wasn't going places...
Philly is getting better for the PO, and it is a win now move, but can't help to think how close to worthless that "process" was. Yes they have 2 allstars from it, but did you really have to tank so hard for so long to come out with two players that don't seem to work too good together, and one still giving you scares every time he falls. Lack of good depth is even more surprising...

so Reggie Bullock can be had for nothing but Tim is more interested in yet another 6'4 SG that can't get off the bench in Miami. odd. Svi is not nothing bro. Pay attention

Insane deal. Good business from both sides when I really think about it. Hope we trade for Gallo next deadline

Kings might actually make the playoffs. Agreed. People keep sleeping on them because they're the Kings but Fox and Hield have both made jumps this year. Giles/Bagley are back from injury and look solid. Bogdanovic is awesome. WCS has his moments. They're a fun team on the rise. Reminds me of us 2 years ago The WCS hate is ridic.. othervise I agree

They won that Pelicans trade and even though I laughed at the Bagley pick, he's not looking too bad either.

That 360 oop was crazy. I really hope they get in. They're a fun team and Joerger has done a great job.

This Sixers Clippers deal is kind of crazy.
I read that the Sixers have the intention to re-sign Harris and Butler to create a "Big 4"
I hate that this "Big 3 " nonsense is becoming the norm in order to be able to win anything in this league but please don't let the idea of a "Big 4" take that over.
EDIT: Also interesting that the Sixers played all of their traded pieces last night, with exception of Chandler, against the Raptors rather than "protect" them.

Odds to win the NBA title/
Golden State Warriors -215 Toronto Raptors +800 Boston Celtics +1000 Los Angeles Lakers +1100 Milwaukee Bucks +1100 Houston Rockets +1300 Philadelphia 76ers +1600 Oklahoma City Thunder +1900 Denver Nuggets +2200 Portland Trail Blazers +7000
It’s funny that they rank LA higher than Rockets, 76ers. They’re probably missing the playoffs even if they do get AD..

It's an interesting trade because the Clippers are 5 games over .500 and Gallo is still hurt. I think if they didn't make a move they'd still have a solid chance at the playoffs tbh. They're clearly going all in. For Philly I'm not entirely sure. Tobias is an amazing player. 100% underrated and should have made the All Star team this year no doubt. They have great size now although their bench is even weaker. Redick-Butler-Tobias-Simmons-Embiid is pretty nuts. Such a good combo of isolation players and shooters. Only issue I can see them running into is...can all of those guys put their egos aside to win? Redick/Tobias should have no problem doing it. Simmons I think too. But I can see some problems with them come playoff time. Butler will want the last shot and so will Embiid. Either way...I think Philly has a real good shot at the finals now. Raptors I'm still not in on long term. Bucks too...can't really buy in on them for the finals yet. I think it comes down to Boston/Philly. Top 4 in the East are going to be so much fun playoff time though. For the first time in so long.

Imo it’s Boston or Toronto as they’re the teams with the most playoff experience.
Eventually philly/bucks will gain the experience needed to make a deep run but not quite yet.
That being said, the complete opposite of what I say usually happens.

I predicted before the season that Bucks are going to the finals and that they will take 2 games from GSW. Their length, depth and defense is underrated.

Reunited and it feels so good. Damn, these fuckers had one good season with the Nuggets (57 win team) & you guys get a woody "liking" a post about them. The Gallo/Chandler/Faried core were s**t and that's likely why TC couldn't swing major deals for them.

Depends on the opponents I guess but honestly, I do worry that our lack of experience will result in a first-round loss. Especially if we were to get the Spurs which is very possible.

Vincent Ellis: Don’t think this is happening before Thursday, but heard from several people over last couple days that #Nuggets guard (former #Spartan) Gary Harris can be had. When you look at cap sheet, you understand why he might be available when you see the way Malik Beasley is coming on.

Who is Vincent Ellis? And I don’t expect any action “before Thursday” either. But “on Thursday”? Maybe.

Fair question, broken avatar guy (it results in odd cluttering of words when replying to you), and I most certainly think playoff experience is a bonus. Let's hope they win a series, but also appreciate they made the playoffs and gained experience if they don't get past the first round.

When you look at cap sheet, you understand why he might be available when you see the way Malik Beasley is coming on. I'm okay with this if talent is acquired and Gary just isn't given away. Harris is seemingly becoming the injury prone player, TC has a deep roster, and maybe trading him can improve the team. Negative, how much does team chemistry come into play if he's traded away? Locker room culture matters, but how much I don't know.
