Hello Nuggets Talk community. The name's Jason, I'm 20 and live in Sacramento California.
I became a Nuggets fan in 8th grade when i lived in Colorado briefly during Carmelo's rookie year, first year we made the playoffs as an 8th seed (after winning 17 games the year before.) It seemed like few people in Colorado gave two shits about the Nuggets back then. They weren't on local tv much, at least i didn't have access to the games... all the stupid Avalanche games were though. So, I listened to every game on the radio except for a rare televised one.
We had players like sharp-shooters Voshon Lenard and Jon Barry, Earl Boykins, Camby, birdman pre-trade, and Andre Miller. I loved those players. Went to two games at the Pepsi Center, one against the Lakers when Shaq was out. I remember people shouting guilty when Kobe was at the freethrow line, I think we won. And the other was against the Celtics, remember Pierce having a great night and us losing.
