So far, I have been called a "pussy", "douche", "gay", and other names, and I have not called one person a name or talked trash at all. There are plenty of Hornets fans who haven't gotten the same treatment, which suggests you're doing something other Hornets fans are not. Look back over the things you've written. You haven't explicitly said "you, person X, I think you're [insert bad thing here]"... but a few times, you have suggested that people on this board as a whole are generally not knowledgeable about basketball and that your own ideas are far superior to ours. That's both arrogant and insulting. Yes, I know, some of those insults are in response to D2R trashing you -- so grow a skin; D2R trashes everyone. On top of that, you posted maybe a dozen zero-content posts just trying to get around our minimum-post rule. And you've spent far more time talking about how you're a quality poster than actually making quality posts. Of the 30 posts you've made that haven't been deleted, 2 of them had decent basketball content (keys to victory; pick&roll defense), and in one of those you opened with an insult to the whole board. Take a deep breath. Stop worrying about what names you've been called. Stop worrying about defending yourself every time someone says something mean to you. Make quality posts and you'll be accepted; make content-free posts or get into flamewars with D2R and you'll get banned. |

You seem to have a good knowledge of the game, and I can definitely respect that. Can you get rid of all the flamers like r2d2 and others, so the knowledgeable basketball fans can discuss the game? I could care less about what names I have been called if it wasn't being threatened to be banned. Sorry for the misunderstanding at first, I just really wanted to post on this board. I think me and you got off on the wrong foot, but i am glad we have settled things. |

I am trying to talk basketball but the other posters on this board want to talk nonsense. You've made exactly TWO basketball-related posts so far, out of close to 50 if you count all the deleted ones. I think you need to try harder. Also, you make yourself look like a noob when you talk about "r2d2". D2R is well-known around here; the extra 2 at the start of his name is clever, but the name isn't originally a star-wars knockoff. Vicky's husband has the right to get on D2R about his name, but you don't. |

You want to talk about the game tomorrow? Why don't you post in the game thread that was made specifically to, you guessed it, talk about the game tomorrow. And if you want people to actually respond to you and your posts, try to make them about something that isn't common knowledge or insulting to the people you "want" have a conversation with. Just a tip.

You misunderstand.
You might "own" D2R; it's not that hard to do so. But it's not a fight that can be "won"; the mere fact that you're involved in the fight means you've already lost, because you're wasting your time fighting with D2R instead of talking about basketball or doing something else interesting.
