Longtime Nuggets fan since Issels' heyday, so yes, I'm likely way older than you. The downside, is I'm pretty much only a TV fan since I live on the Western Slope. The upside is, we haven't been affected by the Altitude/Comcast BS. New to board. Fan since the Denver Rockets played at the Denver Coliseum. Need somewhere to vent on how Booth is to blame for this roster make up.
-The extension to Zeke was horrific decision. 8 million a year and all he gives the nuggets are DNP's. Is there another player in the league that young, making that kind of money that doesn't even get in the game?
Why did Booth think Saric could play backup center? He is as soft as a bag of bunnys. I have never seen an NBA center get backed down and dunked on like Gafford did Saric last night (unless it was by Shaq)
Jamal's decline is most concerning. He looks slow and can't create space like he used to. Not sure why but if you include late last season, the olympics, and the start of this season we are looking at an extended period that can't be characterized as a slump and it might just be what Murray has become at this point in his career.
On the positive side Braun is an improvement over an aging KCP. Not quite the shooter, but better in every other category. Watson has shown that he is a capable 15 minute a game guy if you don't ask hi to do to much offensively. Westbrook is a HUGE upgrade over Reggie J.
If Murray can turn things around and AG gets healthy Nuggets can do well enough to get home court in first round. If those things don't happen say hello to a play in series at best.
