amazing happens. Its no need to post if you can't speak about the whole team and you have to watch what you say about certain players. You say anything wrong about Billups and you're not a fan of this team, you're just a Carmelo homer. If you blame Karl, AC, Jones, Carmelo or LK, then and only then you're a diehard fan of team. Billups can't be blamed though because Billups is the reason we're here because he's a great decision maker and constantly hit clutch shots. Asking for another player to take a shot when you have Billups is flatout wrong. You can't blame JR because he has a ts% higher than Carmelo and he's the 2nd best player on the team.
I'll still view the board, but unless someone gets a triple double, 50+, hit a gamewinner or something amazing happens, I may not post. I'll respond to this thread if anyone has something to say.

Wow. Are you female, cause your panties are in a bunch?? You are both allowed and correct to call Billups out when he is going through bad play. He's playing real bad lately (I saw none of tonights game and havent checked the box score yet). The thing that I think irritates most people is when he doesn't get the credit for the turnaround this team went through. This team is night and day different than last years team, and Billups leadership is a huge part of that. You cant put leadership in a box score though so it's harder to measure. Yes other players are playing better but they were playing a lot better at the start of the year too. Granted 4 games isn't a good sample size but I think it is at least a little evidence of Chauncey's role in the team. The nene and k-mart that started this year were a lot better than any versions we'd seen of them before, and yet we were 1-3. So I'm sorry but we'd be an 8th or 9th seed without Chauncey. But lately, he's sucked, and not that many people I dont think would disagree with you, just give the guy credit where it's due is all.

Look in the thread about him when people complained about him, yet people still had an attitude because a select few didn't suck him off. Look at the people who won't even call him out for single handedly almost blowing tonight game and freezing out Carmelo constantly in 4th quarters. The s**t is annoying as hell, and if you say something about it, its a sin. And I don't see why people keep saying we wouldn't be good without Billups. Ok, he's had a impact on this team. Noone is denying that, but we're here mostly because of Nene responding great from last year's injuries, and the West being hurt the whole year. The West is nowhere as good as it was last year.

Wow I just checked the box score. Dude puts up a 33 and 7 the night you post that? You got some great timing, what's next for you asking dad for a xbox 360 right after he tells you he got laid off?

He's the only one who gets credit? There are a few thousand posts this year that might speak the other way. I think if you do change your mind about posting here you have to change your name to callmedramaqueen because that is way over the top.

You didn't just use 33/7 to say that he was great tonight. Tell me you didn't. That's why they say "stats lie". The 4th quarter, just wow. Yes, it's only 1 quarter, but that was the most crucial quarter and once again he tried to play hero and almost blew the game. Against the Bucks, he was 6-12, played hero and blew the game. But wait, he shot 50%, he couldn't have played bad. I can care less about what stats say. Stats say that Birdman was a negative, when he was out there doing everything he possibly can to help us win. Stats say that Carmelo didn't have the best positive in the starting 5, when once again, he did everything he can to try and win this game. I don't care what any stat say because they lie. That's the point of watching games. To see what's going on.

I see why you choose "callmeking" as your second name here. You really think you're important enough to start a thread to start a thread about not posting here anymore? Or people really care? This on a message board where you are already going around a ban?
Not trying to sound harsh, but you are way too sensitive for the internet it seems.

I am with peanut on the Carmelo Chauncey argument here. He's absuletely correct. Chauncey's poor shots seem to be increasing and he takes more bad shots by far--than anyone else on the team.

Billups is making poor decisions lately, i am following a PBP screen and even i can see that Is he freezing out Melo? Melo was shooting well against the Hawks but it looked like Billups jacked up so much crap. His freethrow count made his game look good. He needs to get back to making Melo the #1 option, that is Chauncey's job.

Chauncey was on fire tonight. I agree that Chauncey has been shooting way too much lately and hasn't played his best, however, he is still the leader of this team. Nene has received too little credit and Chauncey has received too much, but they both have contributed greatly. Why so serious, Peanut?

peanut... your problem is that when you criticize people, you do so with hyperbole, which means that you'll pretty much always be open to criticism. Then you start getting defensive and calling people names and acting like a kid.

Billups has seemed to regress overall during the last few weeks. He seems to be a little slower afoot. His decision making has deteriorated generally. He is forcing way too many shots when other men are open around him. Carmelo MUST be our number one option, and Chauncey needs to know that if he doesn't already. Furthermore, he almost refuses to attempt to push the ball with any consistency, even though we are often at are best when we get out and run and attack.
