I wouldn't entirely count out Cleveland if Mitchell, Garland, Allen, and Mobley all stay healthy (big if given their respective seasons).

Valanciunas 5/6 in the first 5 minutes of this game. Thunder have absolutely no answer for his size.

always thought the hand-wringing over the Thunder was misplaced and considered them a paper tiger for various reasons, most notably their starting center literally weighs the same amount as Facu.

Another team that needs a point guard. They have Jose Alvarado, but he's tiny. Alvardo's combine measurements: 5'11.0" barefoot, 6'0.25" in shoes, 6'1.0" wingspan Gillespie's combine measurements: 6'1.5" barefoot, 6'2.75" in shoes, 6'4.0" wingspan

11 assists, 10 turnovers on 18/38 shooting for the Pelicans. So bad.

11 assists, 10 turnovers on 18/38 shooting for the Pelicans. So bad. Itâs too bad. I used to live in Nola, so I still root for the pelicans when theyâre not playing Denver. Feels like they missed their window a bit due to Zionâs injuries. Ingram has become a black hole bad shot taker with poor defensive effort. McCollum looks awful this entire post season. Valaciunas would probably be a lot better with a true point guard to feed him on the short roll. Playoffs just completely expose you if you donât have a solid half court offense.

Thunder are a very connected team on offense and defense. Theyâre not gonna go quietly.

Fami to me is like the embodiment of america Europe, North America, Australia. distinction without a difference. we're all complicit in genocide. we all forced the world to accept corporatism, neoliberalism and the petro-dollar by the barrel of the gun, which had the added benefit of destroying the one planet we have to work with. our imperialist and colonial wars killed millions and we've learned absolutely nothing from our horrid and obscene past. our "rules based order" only applies to our enemies. Interesting random self awareness I was speaking more of the arrogance and the idea that you are always right. More than Fami being a war criminal lmao Americans donât seem very humble. Ofc this is extremely generalising. But if you donât think there is a difference then you should travel more lol

The Pelicans have a low ceiling unless they can find 1 or 2 âstarâ players who are much better players and leaders than what they have. Ingram and Williamson are talented but if you grade them based on how they work as your star players they are bums. Not smart enough or tough enough or with good enough leadership qualities. CJ at 32 is OK as a 3rd option but heâs not a PG and we are seeing how it plays out if you donât have a PG on the court. Although some consider Jokic to be the PG of the Nuggets, the fact is that Murray now consistently averages 6+ assists (7.1 through 20 games last postseason) with a 3:1 A/To ratio â thatâs a real PG. So if Jokic is also playing PG, the Nuggets have 2 real PGs, whereas teams like the Pelicans and Suns have none, which is big part of why they turn the ball over too much to win in the playoffs.
The Pelicans are toast â not just this season but going forward â unless they can remake their team to find at least one playoff level lead player and at least one starting quality PG.
Even the Celtics â with their overall talent being so superior to the rest of the eastern conference â are vulnerable because 1) their best players are decent but not great âstarâ players, and 2) they have decent PGs in Holiday and White but since those guys are more like 4th/5th offensive options for them, their offense doesnât run like one with a real PG playing a central role.

Watching some of these bullshit calls the Sixers are getting in this game...kinda worried what the Lakers are going to get away with in our game. Crying to the media about fouls works, apparently.

The Sixers got all these calls in the first two games too. People just only remember the final sequence. This whistle is what the Sixers are built on. Hell, it's what Morey's career is built on.
