fair point. though if Zeke was competent from 3, you could stagger AG with the bench more and make him the de facto backup 5 with Zeke playing stretch 4 with Jokic. You “could” but since Gordon is such a great lob threat with Jokic, who wants him playing nearly half of his minutes without Jokic in order to cover all of the backup 5 minutes? The starting group fits together so well I just don’t think you want to cannibalize from that too much.

I think Zeke has been looking solid! He’s going to contribute well in the playoffs, especially with wing-heavy teams.

He won't play meaningful minutes at all in the playoffs.

Jokic didn't have a good game but that wasn't a bad game either. TO's were the only issue. Saying like he needs to give you more is simply something that will not happen in the PO's this year if Malone doesn't start resting him. He averaged 30/13/6 in the last 2 shooting 59%/42%/78% and that's what you can expect in PO's. Last night the team played dumb in the 4th and that was reason for the loss. When you have a scrub taking 5 3's while shooting 0% from 3 in the last 4 games, in a tight game like that you deserve to lose turnovers wasn't only issue, he allowed Drew Eubanks god knows how many offensive rebounds and deflections just because he was too lazy to move his ass and box him out. he simply played terrible game. he also refuse to put his ass on low post and play against that same Eubanks. and its Drew freaking Eubanks, who is so bad, Suns would rather have Durant on 5 then letting him play more then 5 minutes. last night he played over 20 cause Jokic has decided not to guard him and not to attack him. Jokic and AG were by far worst players on the floor. it wasn't Watson, who, despite shooting 0-5 for 3, didn't hand his head, but work his ass off on defense. I just posted that in the last 2 games against Lakers (road) and Suns (home) Jokic posted 32/13/6 on 59/42/78 shoting splits. If you expect Jokic to average 40/15/10 against these teams in meaningless regular season games you're dumber than you appear to be. It doesn't matter if it's Eubanks or whoever it is, a very well rested guy, giving everything out there. What did he need to do? To go all in against fuc*ing Eubanks and get injured . Team had a shot at winning but Murray and Mpj scored only 8 points in the last 13 minutes on low efficiency and that's it. Jokic decided that the game needed to be won by other players as he didn't have an elite shooting night and it didn't happen, that's all
