Kowabunga Kuminga definitely has a legitimate gripe with Kerr. he had a team high +6 and the Nuggets had a hard time matching his energy and effort. zero excuse for playing this guy under 20 minutes.
Kerr is one of the worst coaches at player development and vet bias in the NBA. take away his roster of all-stars in their prime and he acts like a rookie coach in over his head.
say what you want about Mark Jackson, but Jackson empowering (then unproven) Draymond Green during the 2013 playoffs unlocked the Warriors full potential. Kerr probably would've played Carl freaking Landry 30+MPG and lost to the Galloless Nuggets in the first round.

It’s incredible how jokic can just flip a switch
The previous game vs Charlotte jokic just didn’t seem to care. He just wanted to win and get the game over with. He was barely giving any effort at all.
Next game vs the warriors he was so much more aggressive and determined. Seemed like two different players.

We in Denver are lucky to have this representative from another time and another place on our team.

Mark Jackson will always be the coach of that warriors team, imo. He developed all of the key players that created that dynasty.

I’m guessing that some of this is similar to the problem that developed here with Bones — Kuminga is still on his rookie contract and he (and people in his ear) is worried the team isn’t maximizing his earning potential. For the most part during the Kerr years, the Warriors have stuck with their motion offense system that plays to the strengths of Curry and Thompson. It may not flatter some other guys. And to my eyes, there is overlap between Kuminga and Wiggins that might also partially explain why Kuminga hasn’t gotten a bigger role.
