Murray back to “he will never be an AllStar” form, I see. Well, same old Jamal as we've seen for years in the regular season as he looks like an All-Star in one game, then total garbage the next game. Stats look basically the same as well. Don't get me wrong as I'm glad we have Jamal on this team, but we also have to be realistic about who he is at this point in his career. In the West he's not beating out Curry, SGA, Booker, Luka, Fox, Edwards, and Morant for a starter or reserve as his only hope for an All-Star appearance is that 3-4 of the players above are injured and he gets in as a injury replacement.

Yes, that’s our hope. But not this season. Jamal has been too unavailable and too inconsistent to even be an injury replacement, IMO.

We gotta stop pretending like Jamal has been playing like same old Jamal.
12 games in December he's averaging 21.5/4.5/5.5 on 50/46/90 shooting. That is not same old Jamal. Those are superstar level shooting percentages for a guard. Like Steph Curry number.
He probably won't make more than an All Star game or two but that's mostly because he doesn't take the same amount of shots as the other elite guards. Murray is averaging 10 less points than Fox, on 6 less shots and 4 less free throws. Booker is averaging 7 more points on 4 more shots and 4+ more FTs.
It's literally all based off the scoring opportunities he gets, and the Nuggets are a better team specifically because they balance their shot distribution. Murray is just like Jokic where he's a little bit limited athletically and he refuses to flop and initiate fake contact so his FT numbers will always be lower than the grifting guards.

I still take Jamal Murray over all other PG's.
If Jamal Murray wakes up and decides that your team is going to lose, the he can single-handedly defeat you. We've seen it multiple times. The man can murder teams. There's maybe about 3 or 4 other players in the league today who can do the same (if even).
I do hope Jamal makes an all star game - whether this year or some time. He saves his best for when it matters most, as well as the playoffs - that should be rewarded.

These btb's eventually get you. Too many of those so far. Let's get onto the next one I love the hard schedule up front! It's a blessing in disguise. We've had a murderous schedule, and are still the 3rd seed. Minny is going to go into the playoffs f***ing exhausted from the B2B's and well-rested opponents they have played. I love to hate on Silver - but we're going to be grateful that the worst of our schedule is over well before the ASB.

We have a losing record to OKC Houston Sacramento Unlike last year, we just cannot beat good teams. Repeat unlikely to happen. A championship is always unlikely, as it was this year when we won it. Through 34 games last year, we were 22-12. This year, 23-11. A 6-8 seed? LOL, talk about bad takes at the end of 2023! Yeah...minus Jokic going out with a major injury, this team will finish in the top 4 of the west. With that stated, since this team is on a nearly identical win total to last year, I highly doubt 53 wins will be enough to secure home court advantage in the Western Conference as I'd bet the house it will take somewhere between 56-60 regular season wins this season to secure that.
