Merry Christmas to all of you guys! Today, trout fishing took priority over Nuggets but fully paid off

Usual Jokic haters see somebody else dominating the game lol. 26/14/8 and +23 in 39 minutes played in a 6 point win. Must have been terrible. How can you expect that the league respect Jokic when Nuggets fans b***h about him every game. Just disgusting reading some of those comments.

Jokic could go 1/27 with 12 turnovers and you'd still blame the rest of the team. You probably still think Jokic is the MVP this year over Embiid which shows how much of a homer you are. Jokic is not playing up to HIS standards this year which is clear as day when you look at his shooting percentages all across the board.

I just see Jokic sucks, night after night In Jokics last 10 games he's averaging 49% from the field. He shot under 50% 3 times all of last season and 1 of those was the garbage time game vs Utah (last game of season he shot 2-5)

If you didn't notice Murray missed almost half of the season so far (44%). This team without Murray at his best, is not a championship team and not even close but yet they have the second best record in the west. Jokic is posting 26.4/12.2/9.2/with 2 stocks and 2.6 TO what is way, way better than his first mvp season which was a historic season of its own kind. Same points, 22% increase in rebounds, 15% in assists while reducing TO's by 20%. That all by shooting only 2% fg less. People like you just don't deserve Jokic. You're a disgrace as a Nugget fan and no wonder that the espn clowns will always find the way to downplay Jokic's numbers when they have such a strong support base among Nuggets fans

I think short memories certainly don't help regarding the perceptions of Jokic's season.
He kept the Nuggets season afloat during the first 20 odd games when Murray was missing for a long stretch; playing at a historic level.
At one point he led the league in total points, rebounds and assists. Think about that for a second.
And since then with Murray back and in his groove, Jokic is back to playing team basketball, which wins Championships.
And yes he's shooting at a lower FG % for the past few weeks, but hey, he's human.
But he's still affecting the game in numerous ways. Embiid needs to score 30+ pts to affect the game on the offensive end. Jokic can score 30+, or score 15 on 9 shots some nights and still have just as big an impact on the offensive end through his playmaking and creating space and open looks for others.
That's what makes him so great.
Embiid can win another MVP because he takes 30 shots every time he plays the Pistons and Wizards and the infatuation with Pointz per Game; but Jokic to me is still more dominant during the regular season.
And let's not even begin to discuss the difference between the two in the Playoffs, which is a totally different ball game.

And that's fine. But don't pretend like you're an objective person. Nobody is more objective than me. When Jokic plays well I call him the GOAT. When he doesn't, I say he plays poorly. He has not been playing as well as we're used to. You will never ever call Jokic out no matter.

For some stretches this season, Jokic been at an A level and at other stretches his usual A+. Its worth keeping in mind the Nuggets played into mid-June and he should be conserving his energy and playing at 75% intensity as much as possible, especially since the Nuggets’ weakness at backup C makes it difficult to give him games off.
I’m thrilled the Nuggets got a win in a game in which I expected they’d be very tired having just gotten home from a 3 games in 4 days east coast road trip, then after only X-mas eve off (no full rest day since they presumably got back to Denver in the early morning hours), had to get up early to go to the arena for a 12:30 game. I expected a tired looking game from them and we did see a lot of that but they pulled out a win.
Reggie looks like he badly needs a week off. I hope Gillespie or Pickett are prepared to give them some decent minutes.

for some reason, the Golden Boys have a hard time processing the loss when the Nuggets defeat them - who could forget Mark Jackson, with literal tears in his eyes, accusing George Karl of sending "hitmen" after Steph Curry's cankles? clowns.
I would like to ask Mr. Kerr if the Warriors building a dynasty on the foundation of their bigs setting illegal screens for their elite shooters constitutes "legislating defense out of the game".

agree
Reggie played in all 32 games so far. Only him, Braun and MPJ hasn't missed a game so far. and he is 8 years older then MPJ and 11 then Braun. he is fifth most used player and his effort on defense was not questionable so far. AG had some nonchalant games, so did MPJ. Jokic I'm not even going to comment, he is playing with 60% effort at best. only ones who had similar usage are KCP and Braun.
result of it is injury last night. looks like its nothing serious, but giving him b2b Memphis and OKC games off could go long way.
btw, I fing hate NBA schedule. Nuggets now have 2 days off, then play b2b, then Charlotte, then again 2 days off, then another b2b. and again its @gsw then home game against Orlando. its just insane. I don't know how many times already this season we had b2b with one home and one away game.
oh, to top it all, once NBA dragged us through mud with their traveling arrangements and having most away games and most b2b this season, we don't hit another b2b for more then a month... so, they decided to send us on 5 games east road trip, and Nuggets will have 2 days off between first game in Philly and second one in Boston... why couldn't they play game in Philly one day later? no to mention, Philly, Boston, Washington, Indiana, New York. lol... why not New York after Washington then go to Indy and then back home? idiotic...

Its tricky because everyone has different expectations. I can play well in one of my own games, but that wouldnt be considered well for everyone
