If Jokic "likes" his money, Malone "loves" his money. No way Malone calls out the way Jokic is officiated unless we are in deep s**t aka 4-5 game losing streak or so.

I am so tired of you bitching about Jokic every minut in every game when he's not in mvp mode. Man, last night he put 31/11/7/2/3 on 70% playing 34 minutes. Ffs he's a 7 footer and can't play night after night over 30mins and put more effort than others. The other guys are making millions of dollars and need to move their lazy asses regardless of what Jokic does There's a huge difference between MVP mode and I don't want to shoot mode. Embiid brings it every single night, on both ends. Embiid is not playing btb's. He skips every second one and plays only those where he can pad the stats. Jokic missed only 1 game in the entire season so far lol

I understand that you cope by berating Jokic’s play, but it gets kinda silly.

Embiid is due for his big injury this year anyway. Don't tell me it's not coming, it's happened all 9 years of his pro career and the only year of his college career. More predictable than a CP3 playoff injury.

Embiid skips b2bs, away trips to Western Conference heavyweights and, crucially, every finals game.

voo is right, Katy Cringe captain hindsighting every play for 5 minutes play is annoying. Nuggets Rebound the ball: Katie: “The nuggets really gotta score here.” Opponents rebound the ball: Katie: “the nuggets really gotta play defense here.” I don’t know why people criticize Hastings, especially in favor or Winge. Hastings has such wonderful commentary, noting what the ref is thinking, or why the coach did something that doesn’t make sense - Hastings makes sense out of the most confusing or frustrating things that happen on the court - the kind of wisdom only a long time player with insight would have - whereas Katie is literally describing the color of the opposing team’s uniform. I’ll never understand the Hastings hate. He is a gem. I’m just trying to enjoy his commentary while I can, as I’m sure a well deserved retirement beckons.

plus 8 in the moe standing - tied with min. Extraordinary considering how hellacious our schedule has been, versus their cupcake festival. We’re still going to play them in the WCF and need another big - but I’m proud of our guys

Hastings has gotten on my nerves occasionally, but never as a Nuggets color man. Guy made his living on the nba margins. His insight is awesome

It's kind of an interesting comparison though.
Embiid goes 100% against bad teams, pads his stats and gets a rest quarter as a result.
Jokic coasts completely which means we don't really blow teams out and he plays most the game as a result.
I'm unsure which is the better scenario.

I'll never understand the Jokic criticism.
Folks - good athletes "pace" themselves. During games, during an entire season - they pace themselves. They won't go 110% during every minute, of every game. There are special athletes who could do that - Dennis Rodman is the finest example of that.
But for the most part, 95% of all-stars will "pace" themselves. If they go 110% every single minute, they will get injured or be too burnt out for the playoffs.
Jokic is pacing himself so that his finest basketball comes out in May/June - ditto for Murray. They're not lazy (lol) - they're pacing. It's part of managing themselves, especially for playoff time.

Jokic is also trying (with moach) to develop the bench guys. He's not going to just look to score every time even if it's the best play. He's trying to get guys going during the stagger.

I'm unsure which is the better scenario. 76's have Maxey who plays every game and gives you 26.5/7 on 47% fg night after night and Nuggets, despite having the most unselfish player in nba, have nobody with that type of production. A player like Maxey can give a lot of rest to Embiid and Nuggets run Jokic right to the ground.

I'm unsure which is the better scenario. maybe this will help you out: since 16-17(not counting 15-16 cause Embiid didn't play whole year) : Jokic 546 games played. Embiid 419 games played. in career in playoffs: Jokic played in 68 out of 68 games. Embiid played in 53 out of 61 games. funny thing, he missed games in 5 out of 6 years he was in playoffs. only time he played all the games was in 2020. they played 4 games, losing 4-0 to Boston.
