Nuggets were 32-27 in games Jokic started. Take away the 3-5 season start, and that's 29-22 in games Jokic started after being reinserted. Exactly. Shooting for .500 with him getting in better shape, Harris being older, Murray being older etc. can't be the goal. The FO felt confident enough to make that move for Plumlee for a reason. Gallo not coming back obviously changes things but the defense regressed this year and is basically at the point where it can't get any worse and only improve. The late stretch run, coming up short, should only be a good lesson for everyone. Next year not only do you have internal improvement but a competitive run at the playoffs in your books. Never said .500 is the goal. I said it probably gives Malone another year.

Murray played the entire season with a sports hernia. Very impressive for a 19 year old. 82 games with a sports hernia...crazy. Very impressive or stupid? I'm no doctor but isnt the best thing to do with a sports hernia to take 2-3 weeks off?

A hernia you get from playing sports?

Basically a term for a hernia like symptoms that occur due to tissue damage or inflammation in that area. Very wide term, could mean a lot of things, so it's funny how easily thay congratulate him on enormous pain he endured.

15 belongs to the one and only Jokic.

Melo is #7. How about we let Gallo go and trade Chandler and Barton for Melo?
I'm being facetious. Sorta. Would you rather pay Malo $54 mil the next two years, or Gallo $80 mil the next four? Maybe even $100 mil the next five years.
I don't like Melo, but he's still probably a better player than Gallo, and one could make a case that Melo at $27 mil per year is better value than Gallo at $20 mil per year. I don't agree that we should being him back. But one could make that case.
Would Melo mesh with Jokic? IMO, no. He is still a ball stopper, and Jokic system is all about ball movement and cutting. Would Melo accept being a second best player in Denver and defer to Jokic? At this point, Jokic is better than Melo, makes his teammates better than Melo does, and is on the ascent. Melo is on the decline side of his career. But he still may be better than Gallo. Regardless of Melo's history here and forcing his way out, he's under contract. Does he have a no-trade clause to Denver? If so, would he waive it? Would Josh be so desperate for selling tickets that he'd want him back?
I know, I know. It's a facetious idea. Completely ridiculous. But something to think about.

Yes, but we'd tell him to keep wearing #7 (which no current Nugget is using) or take another number.
This is Jokic's team now.

Plus our offense clicks so well with ball movement. Melo is a ball stopper.

Agree on the ball stopper comment, rock, but Melo isn't any worse on D than Gallo these days. He'd be replacing Gallo minutes.

Actually here's a thought. We know Melo and Chris Paul are good friends.
If getting Melo means Chris Paul would sign here giving us a big 3 of Jokoc-Paul-Melo would you do it?

#1 Melo fan but getting him here would mean Jokic wouldn't touch the ball anything close to where he's at right now, that'd hurt his development and his thoughts about this team

I'm over Melo, would rather have Gallo and a defensive specialist
If Knicks become a dumpsterfire tho, give me O'Quinn. Perfect backup C/PF. I'd trade Barton for him, as would probably the Knicks
