I was looking more at the structure supporting the bucket, that thing was rocking all over the place. Breakaway rims ftw i'm pretty sure he was on the ground at the end before he let go of the rim.

LMAO at the Lakers thinking they can get Howard and Paul....double LMAO if they actually pull it off. It's going to be funny when the lowly Clippers get one or both and become the new superteam in LA

Here's my random thought for the day: I think the Chinese teams will cave and release WC et al, mainly just to save face. I think they'll want to keep their league attractive to the talent they can get (faded stars, maybe the occasional Brandon Jennings types), and won't want to sour the NBA players in general on the prospects of playing over there.

I doubt it.....if that was the way they wanted to go they wouldnt have outlawed NBA opt-outs. From the sounds of things they will either suspend the players without pay, or let them play out their contract. The Chinese league doesnt really have to "save face", as they have been up front from the start.

It would be nice if TD was right, but I don't see it because they were quite clear that they were only willing to give out deals to players who didn't have a current NBA contract, and no opt outs would be granted if a player did sign.

Why do they outlaw NBA out-clauses? Is it because of the lockout?

Why do they outlaw NBA out-clauses? Is it because of the lockout? Who knows the true reason, but in theory because they didn't want players leaving half way through the season and disrupting chemistry etc. etc.

Watching that video of Hamilton vs Dre reminded me Dre looks like Denzel in 'He Got Game'.

Tyson Chandler is almost a Knick.

Read somewhere on ESPN that after they sign Chandler and get rid of Billups somehow that the Knicks are looking to trade Amare to the Hornets for Paul. If that doesn't go through I'm sure that'll do wonders for their chemistry this season. Ironically, although I definitely think Melo is way better than Amare, Paul would not really make Melo much better unless he changes his game but Paul would be a huge help for Amare's production...you know, if they weren't trading him for Paul.

Nugz Junkie - I agree. He is a really good player and has a pretty high bball IQ. He also knows Karl well and can be that veteran that the youngsters need. I was thrilled when they brought him back, even if it only ends up being for this season. Dre + Faried = The Alley Oop is back??
