I love this board... win a tough game in Portland and we're championship material. Lose a tough game at the end of a back to back on a road trip filled with back to backs, and we're a joke of a team that shouldn't even take the court against the Lakers.
If we can stay away from the 3 PG / 2 C lineup, we'll be fine.

Nuggets will be favored the next 10 games, until 12/5 at the Spurs

So Suns have back to back, and play a non back to back team in Lakers
Then Lakers play us who just got finished a tough and long road trip
Who really has the advantage here

Suns will give them a fight, I watched that one last night and Nash, STAT, and their starters were all resting only playing 20-24 minutes while their bench schooled the Hornets by 20. So i'm expecting the Lakers to get a run for that W at Staples.

That will make for an interesting W for Denver if both LA and Denver are going for redemption off of losses and Denver upsets them because they are missing Gasol.

We better play better than we have the last three games. I have seen that lazy streak in most our players over the last four games. I know they played allot of games but championship teams bring it every night.
I love the nuggs but I think they lose because they will not be able to just turn it on for the Lakers. I just do not see the crispness in defense that we saw last year.

Is this guy really a Nuggets fan? He seems to hate everything Nugget-related Two negative posts and I hate everything Nugget-related? It's possible to be a fan and a realist simultaneously.

I suspend you for a few days, and you think the best thing to do is completely disregard that and make a new account?
Wrong move, dude.

So I pop up my 10 most recent bookmark and see two of these posts by different people about how "the great teams bring it every night". Is this your first season following the NBA? No the great teams dont bring it every night the Lakers last year half assed many of there games, even in the playoffs and won a championship. The Celtics team the season before that was one of the most focused veteran teams of the last ten years and lost games because of lack of focus. Even the dominant Bulls team lost to the lowly nuggets, and it wasn't because of skill or lucky breaks. The fact is that this is a marathon not a sprint. That was a crap road trip with three back to backs in it early in the season trying to work out rotations and bring back JR. It's absolutely ok that this team isn't running at a full sprint right now, teams that start huge generally fade out because you cant maintain that pace over several months. Calm the hell down people.

I don't know, with the way there playing lately the lakers should kill them, but it s a home game and im trying to be optimistic so im going with a convincing win against la. It all starts with melo though, please pass the ball to our shooters. Melo has never been the key againts the lakers...if Nene gets 15 rebounds we win..its all about are bigs playings theirs equal or better. Of course Melo not sucking would be nice.

The other one was lets trade Melo to Portland for Oden.....

Well with artest and kobe on melo all night, im not expecting much from him but if he does indeed stink it up from the field i hope he finds his teammates and not force the issue like he's been doing this whole road trip. I agree with you though, nene and kenyon needs to rebound the damn ball cause the lakers are a big team.

No team can keep their focus every night, Lakers focused tonight, on the limelight of TNT, Nuggets biggest game of the season to date on ESPN, Nuggets should win the focused part tomorrow.
Easy win!

I'm more worried about Bynum than Kobe. Bynum has been beasting and even Bogut got 20+ last night on the Nuggets big men. Nene has no chance against Bynum

Good news: Bynam hasn't played in a while, now on a back to back. Injured players coming back soon are sort of like Nene not bringing it on a back to back. Happens all the time!

So i'm expecting the Lakers to get a run for that W at Staples. I thought the Suns would give them a better game then they did. Phoenix reminded me of Denver the way that they came out in the 2nd half. Did anyone else catch Kenny Smith talking about how to tell when a star player is getting old? He basically babbled on about Iverson and Shaq, but I was thinking, hell, he just described Amare Stoudamire from this game. Dude looked like s**t in that game. 2-15 and 10 of those shots were dunks. The Lakers pretty much rested their starters the entire 4th quarter, which sucks.
