I don't know why you should be confident, phonz. Lakers will lose. Wishful thinking and realism. Different things.

I can't even keep up with which reffs are the bad ones anymore.... S. Javie? Whichever reff has a short fuse is best for us right now. I'd love to see Kobe get T-ed up after some Dahntay bullshit.

Steve Javie is the one that was actually BANNED from reffing Nuggets games back in the Issel/NVE days. It seems that it was more of an NVE personal vendetta, that carried over to Issel... but there's zero reason to believe in his trustworthiness. Dick Bavetta is more in Stern's pocket than any other ref in the league. I don't even know who M. Davis is... not that Javie or Bavetta will even let him bring his whistle to the arena.

Yeah this is the Stern Ref crew. Wonder who he has ordered to win tonight Probably the Nuggs because a 7 game series is worht allot more $$$$ to the league.

Stern thought us losing Game 1 because of a turnover and several FTs missed was unacceptable... He can't risk a good bounce jeopardizing his plans... Fakeshow has to win this... The best case scenario for him is everyone holding serve and Lakers winning in 7.
On other news, David Stern is reinstating Tim Donaghy to be the ref for the next 6 Eastern Conference games.

I'm okay with Bavetta, the old guy has given Melo a good whistle for a couple of seasons now and will actually talk to him and other nugs without the auto T.
Javie on the other hand carries more grudges and tilts the table in more games due to his personal issues then any ref in the league. Crawford is almost as bad but I like him better simply because he challenged Timmy to a fight. T

Let's beat these motherfuckers and pound them and the S. Javie to oblivion... I want Phil Jackson to look depressed after this game

Javie drives me nuts, but to be fair the Dallas game he reffed he did a good job, specifically reviewing Melo's possible flagrant and determining that even though he swung a little it was after being held. If he had a grudge that would have been an easy time to give him the boot and be fairly justified from a rulebook standpoint and he didnt.

Thank God it's just a calf injury, and not the knee. Kmart will play through anything, and I expect him to still be effective. Please...Please...play Balkman. why does everybody want to play balkman? he's crap! try to get kleiza in the action instead! he could be the key...

JR's d and offense was worse than LK's. The sad thing is he's hurt, so if he plays like trash, there will be a legitimate excuse.

I don't mind Bavetta either. Those guys are a hell of a lot better than Callahan and Violet Palmer (yes, I know that's not saying much).

chauncey better show the f**k up. other than those first two against the hornets he has been way too up and down for my liking. and if its not obvious by now, hes NOT a good defender, which pisses me off. fisher should not be better than you, cb. wake the f**k up and hit ur damn free throws. That's Chauncey. His individual defense is below average. It's why we need a combo guard that can take the load off him in terms of making plays and defending pgs.
