I'm a feel sorry for the Magic if the lakers face them in the finals.
It'll be a sweep for Stern.

JR needs to have a good road game. He's been a good playmaker but we need his scoring. Karl needs to do something about our offense going to s**t for long stretches at a time. Billups really messed up this game with that horrible stretch that lost the lead in under a minute. 4 to's in a row, 2 by CBills...wow that was so horrible. Still I have an issue with the reffing but no one will say so I bet.

We f***ing choked in the 4th. Those calls were bullshit but we should have made our shots.

Game 7 has a higher chance of happening than that. It would only hype the Cavs-Lakers match even more. It's all in the plan, Stern's plan.

Nice to know Carmelo had help. As bad as he was, he's the only one who did anything inthe 4th, despite hacking. Billups 3 costly turnovers, bad pass to JR at end of shotclock, and constantly holding the ball had killed us.

We go as Billups and Smith go.... uuummm you are forgetting Melo. We have to have superstar Melo to get anywhere, CBills and JR are very good role players.

The reffing wasn't great but it wasn't what lost us the game. We haven't been shooting very well from the 3 point line this whole series. And our offense has stagnated for long stretches at a time and it's definitely not because of the Lakers' defense. I still think we tighten up under pressure. Compare the way we've played this series to the Dallas and New Orleans series and the tightness is obvious.
The thing is, if we could just go on a little run where shots started falling, we'd loosen up in a hurry but as it is, I feel that we run too many isolation plays and 2 man games, instead of the nice ball movement leading to dunks for Nene/KMart that got us here earlier in the play-offs.

Nothing was rigged. We are our own worst enemies. We aren't mentally prepared to win these games late. Maybe we will be by game 7. Yes, there were bad calls on Nene tonight, but you simply cannot rig a basketball game in that fashion.

And I think Billups had a pretty shitty game. He held the ball too long before starting the offense too many times... and that bad stretch in the third... holy sh*t. I hope he calls himself out a bit -- it would be good for the team.

That guy VInce was right. I guess the WWE and the NBA are quite similar, after all. Both are scripted.

The LAL Refs really won that game. Odom allowed to camp in the paint. Three complete BS fouls on Nene. Lots of hacking not calling on Denver, touch fouls on LAL. Funny that Denver could have still won, but looked like they let it get in to their heads a bit.

Billups' stretch were he held the ball abnd killed us with bad decisions was the turning point in the game. He was notrious for trying to be the hero in Detroit and he gave the Lakers momentum tonight.
I love the guy but he can;tforce the game like that.

If the officials are good enough to control the game this tight, they must also be psychic to understand who makes shots.

we definitely need to play smarter and hit layups and easy open shots but it hurts when calls dont go your way. some of those nene calls were just horrendous and that billups offensive foul. it happens in the first but every point counts.

Seriously, how f**k does Gasol only have 1 foul? When we had a chance to get back, we got no calls. They f***ing rob us.
Ima keep repeating till the series is over. Stop subing Kleiza for Melo. And stop playing two bigs most of the game. Play the smaller lineup towards the end of the 3rd, into the 4th
I NEVER BEEN THIS PISSED

I also felt that we've started to rely on the whistle too much when taking it to the hole... try to make the lay-up!!! And don't just assume the whistle is going to blow! And if the whistle doesn't blow, get back on D.
That's the one big flaw in Billups game... I feel that he generally controls pace pretty well but tonight he made mistakes at the absolute worst time by trying to impose his will instead of keeping the good flow going.
Also, how the hell was Melo out for so long in the 4th when we were struggling offensively?

Le sigh. Chauncey compared it to a fight. It's looking like Mr. Sandman vs. Little Mac right now (I've been playing a lot of PunchOut!!). Nuggets gotta TCB at home, and then connect the 3Star uppercut. this is not a good situation.

We can talk about the refs, but facts are that we got sub-par games from Billups, Nene, JR, and Melo.
That is too much to overcome.
But it ain't over!!!!!!!!!!!!!
