why the f**k does melo curl BEHIND odom? Odom shaded to the right so Melo went left. Easy basket if Kmart had a brain.

We have to believe, I believe the players must believe if they win Game 4 then the pressure is lessened considerably. Game 5 will then be a dogfight again... but Game 4 is the priority now. It's all business, we have to get it done.

I think the team listened to the press hype too much about how they've already arrived. It would have helped for them to play a bit scared out there, whether at 4 points up or 8 points up. They can beat LA, but only if they're willing to leave their guts on the floor for 48 minutes to win it. It seems they feel that this thing should be easy, and when they start to get ahead, they look for the cheap solution such as deep bombs and shoving, rather than posting up and aggressive defense. I think the whole team needs to look in the mirror, and we'll find out their real character on Monday.

I agree we played hard in Game 3 but there was little sense of urgency... when we were sloppy there was little urgency to break out of the sloppiness, kept taking shots and thinking the next one will go in. Sometimes when you're off, you're off. Playoffs is unforgiving unlike regular season games.

I expect the Nugs to come out sharper and more focused than game 3 and win this one. They played sloppy and stupid last game. Both teams have the ability to win on the road, so the Nugs should be thinking one game at a time.

i know we shouldn't rely on the 3 so much but any other night we'd hit at a higher percentage and win the game.
i'm not worried. we lost two games and won one. the lakers are yet to win one. we still have a great chance at winning this series.

We have to win 3 out of 4. Its going to be tough. We should hire Kanye to sing "amazing" from the dj booth every time we touch the ball for the next game.

We have to win 3 out of 4. Its going to be tough. Denver needs to win game 4, if not it's over!!! They need a huge spark off the bench, maybe from this guy!!!

Its pretty simple. Spread the floor out and cut back on the 3's and attack. If we did that, through it all, we would have won

If we play smart, it doesn't matter if we go 5-27 from 3. If we play smart, we'll win this series. I have enough faith in Carmelo to lead us to this win. And despite how much I bash Billups, I have enough faith in him to pull through and make sure we value every possession down the stretch. I'm going to go on the limb and say that we win the next 3 games. This is suppose to be our storybook season. Nene coming back from cancer, Kmart coming back from 2 microfracture surgeries, JR being given up on by 2 teams, Birdman coming back from a drug suspension, Jones coming from the D-league, Billups playing for a lot of teams, then being the first Piston traded after 6 ecfs. Last, but not least, our franchise player being close to traded and people questioning if he's a legit franchise player.
If not for the Olympics, we'd be called the Redeem Team. We overcame a lot to get here and I can't see it ending in 5 games. If we lose, its going to be a hard fought game 7.

No one is bitching about the 3 ball if we make a halfway shitty percentage say (9-27). These are the same f***ing shots we took against Dallas and the Hornets.
Again, we won the two critical areas PIP and offensive rebounds. We just had one of our worst shooting games of the year (and still should have beaten the "best" team in the NBA).
Nothing else really matters.

this was just another shitty loss, we can win this series...we are wearing the lakers down..Karl has said we wear teams down at the end of games...if we win game 4...i dont think kobe can go 7 hard games...of this...if we keep beating him up..if he does..well lakers deserve it.

Am I the only one in favor of sacrificing Carmelo offense and letting him guard Kobe when DJ is out? I like how Karl coached the last 2 series. Don't take Carmelo out until the opposing star come out. For Carmelo not to be tired, take him out when Kobe's out. But when DJ is out, put Carmelo on him. Not JR or anyone else. Truth is, it doesn't matter how good JR's d may look. When he's guarding Kobe, Kobe will abuse him in the post. With Carmelo on him, Kobe has to settle for deep jumpers. Hell, with Carmelo on him, Kobe can't get free to get the damn ball.
